Initially, we didn’t plan to stop in Vila Viçosa and accidentally drove into this town. And it turned out to be a huge stroke of luck. First, we discovered a great hotel with very friendly staff in a historic building. Then, we explored an amazing town with a fortress and a beautiful palace. I highly recommend visiting this place.⬤
The hotel building was fabulous, many interesting historical features, really good location, the town has lots to see. Breakfast was extremely good, with lots of choice, hot and cold buffet.
Bedroom was good, lots of space and storage.
Staff were exceptional. Hotel was beautiful. Very modern with a lovely pool. Very central to town. Would highly recommend it. Stayed for 2 nights as it was so beautiful
Huge space, well taken care of, clean, comfortable. You sit by the window, and the castle of Vila Viçosa is right there across the street. Will return for sure.
