Perfect location overlooking the ocean. The house is well equipped and furnished with everything you need for your stay. It was absolutely clean and recently renovated. We did not find any water/bug/humidity problems in the house (opposed to what was stated in some earlier reviews). Communication with the host was easy and clear. Parking is onsite that is a big plus.

Fantastic location, both for visiting attractions etc. and for the setting / view. Lovely rustic villa with very homely feel. Very large and comfortable bed. Very well equipped kitchen - including a dishwasher which is a great timesaver when on holiday.
Great patio on the roof with brilliant sea views especially at sunset. Other outdoor areas available too. Rockpool is a lovely way to relax at the end of the day. So relaxing next to sea crashing on the rocks - more for wallowing than swimming.
Plenty of space for parking. Plenty of useful equpment provided such as binoculars, games. Good communications from owner with all the necessary info provided well in advance of arrival. Welcome pack also much appreciated.

Very good location for island tours. There are interesting natural and historical sights nearby. Here you will find the factory of traditional Queijadas, here you can have tea or coffee . Also a port with the possibility of boat trips.

We loved staying in this special and beautiful house.
We loved staying in this special and beautiful house. Everything was perfect and it felt like home. We had a nice bbq in the very well kept garden, cooked meals in the complete kitchen and watched a film by the fireplace in the living room. We ate bananas that the kind neighbours offered us. We have stayed in a lot of different places all over the world but this is the house that we would always want to live in. Dear Pedro and family, thank you!

This village is in a wonderful location to explore the island if you have a car. It sits right on the water and has several wonderful restaurants and a marina with opportunities for activities like boating or snorkeling. It is not a location for shopping, but go into the city for that!

Stayed two days. Lots to do around the island Did not see the town but on the way from Furnas asked to driver to see the church high up on the hill - our Lady of Peace. Very special and spectacular view

This place was where we took or whale watching excursion which was awesome. Saw so many dolphins at 1 time. I got great pics of dolphins in mid flight out of the water as they were playful and showing off some.

Although the places are wonderful, the people at Pestana...
Although the places are wonderful, the people at Pestana Bahia Hotel are trying one thing: to take your money! It is unqualified to block your ebbs when you come and, on departure, even if you pay all the obligations you have, the money will remain blocked! For everybody not having about 1050 euros for five days is a horror. It's a shame! I will NEVER return to this hotel! And if you go, avoid your money being blocked !!!.

We had an amazing stay! The staff was so friendly, helpful and accommodating, they made our stay even more special. They even left a birthday treat for my partner. Breakfast was also top notch - delicious local cheese, bread, scrambled eggs, fruits, pastries, everything is fresh and tasty. Soundproofed rooms, despite having window facing through street, it was very quiet even on a Saturday night. Recommend this hotel 👍🏻
We thought we’ll come back to Sao Miguel for the nature. Turns out we might just come back for this B&B and stay much longer next time!
Very nice owners and staff, the service is definitely of a 5 star hotel!
Also the breakfast is incredible, probably the best you’ll have on the island.

The view was really great, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the location is great, and the beds were comfortable. There is little parking at the hotel, but free and easy parking not far. Walking distance to good restaurants. Breakfast was good.
Very nice hotel with a good room and huge bathroom. Due to covid they worked with reservations for the breakfast but that went super smoothly and there was definitely no crowd when I went to eat.
The hotel is the most unique place I have ever stayed. The building is beautiful, amazingly restored and maintained, mixing historic and modern in an amazing way.
