Oh my!!
The perfect location on the ocean for a 3 day rest in a lovely fishing village on the Portuguese Coastal Caminho, but the most helpful and considerate host we’ve ever encountered!
Lovely village walks to friendly and tasty restaurants and a wonderful bakery café.
The sea air, sounds, and ocean vistas worked its magic for a relaxing and rejuvenating stay.
Thank you Ivan, for your warm hospitality, thoughtful, and comfortable touches. Bravo!

Exceptionally kind , caring and professional staff! Catarina welcomed us with a beautiful smile despite we arrived at the hotel very late. Within a minute we were on our way up to our lovely, clean spacious room with very practical interior.
There was complementary bottled water and possibly to make hot beverages in the room.
The bed was super comfortable. The BEST PILLOW EVER!! , blackout curtains and absolute silence aided our great sleep.
I literally didn’t sleep so well in years!
The breakfast was very nice with Portuguese specialties and Daniel helped us find everything we needed to enjoy our meal.
Adriana , the manager looked after all our needs and gave us great advice.
We also want to thank the rest of the Stay Hotel Team Hugo, Heidi, Joana, Rita, Paulo, Ana, Patricia and Bia.
Thank you All for looking after us so well!!
We loved the place in Vila Cha. Once we were upstairs in the attic apartement, we had a view over the roofs to the atlantic ocean. Everything was available for cooking, washing and cleaning. All the rooms were as described, except for the bedrooms. Beds were the same and clean, but they both had a slanted ceiling that only a 5'2" person could stand along the highest point. If you just use the bedrooms for sleeping it is fine.
The other problem was getting upstairs, not for myself but for my husband who is mobility impaired, had quite some truoble getting up and down. When renting this place you have be able to walk 2 sets of steep 13-15 steps with your suitcases. Just so you know!
The town had small mini markets where you could get daily food and supplies and we also had a great butcher and a cafe around the corner. Everybody, including the owner and neighbors were very friendly and helpful!
We didn't go to the Outlet. Not something we cared about seeing when going to a beautiful fishertown in Portugal
The Camino went through the town so we enviously watched the pilgrims walking by:)
