Location, it was amazing to stay within the walls of the old town. Room was cozy and very clean and despitebeing an old building it had all the comfort of a modern building.

Brand new accommodation in Quinta de Real, with a terrific view of the vineyards. The friendly owner transported us back and forth to a very good restaurant a couple of km's away from the place, which is away from the core.

Valença is a lovely town half of which is still inside the fortifications. The restaurants and shops are friendly and accommodating the views from the fortress are beautiful. A word of "warning" the food is amazing and the portions HUGE!

Location excellent. Spotlessly clean. Quiet. Great communication regarding access. Great shower, good towels and toiletries, plentiful tea, coffee etc in clean, tidy communal area. Valenca is very friendly and very pretty inside the walls. A great first night for our Portuguese Camino.
There was nothing not to like about this amazing hostel. Beautiful old building and a really central location in the old town of Valenca. The beds all had privacy curtains, lights and a socket for charging your phone. Lockers were provided and the kitchen was well equiped.
Despite its decadent appearance, it serves its purpose. It's a comfortable hotel with TV and AC. We just wanted a place to stay as we were attending a wedding nearby and it served its purpose. It was also clean! No notes on that!
the place is a bit remote, more suitable for people who come by car than for a camimnho. but otherwise excellent. jose and his family were very nice and help ed us. although the hotel is located by the road it is very quiet.
A bit dated but clean and comfortable on the edge of the old town. I'd stay here again. Great little laundrette just round the corner if you are on the camino and don't have time to use the hotel service
