The size of the house was great for our family and our dogs. Each room had its own air conditioning unit which was great as it was Winter. The property was fully enclosed and we could not have been more welcomed. The best communication I have had in a stay, ever, including on other booking sites! Good location, the area has many beautiful natural places to explorer. Quiet and peaceful place with friendly people. I would also recomend the restaurant "O Agulhas". Local tastes, normal prices, very friendly staffs.

It's great for long weekends, but not more than that.
It's great for long weekends, but not more than that. You have a few museums and sightseeing spots but you'll shortly run out of things to do unless you want to spend 1 hour driving to a nearby city
We had an excellent stay at Casa Velha Azeitona and wish we could have stayed for longer! The house is very comfortable and quiet - we slept very well - and has a wonderful mountain view. It was great to sit outside in the shadow of the trees. It really is the perfect place to rest, but still very close to Tábua with its amenities. The owners are very friendly and accommodating; they made us feel very welcome. We’ll be back!
