Authentic house, rustic but very functional. Bread,jams, cheese, etc really appreciated. Responsive and friendly hosts. Cute town and you couldn't be closer to the center (without hearing anything extraneous)

The location is what makes this place very special. You are literally inside a walled castle area located on top of a small mountain with incredible views in every direction. It is both comfortable and rustic at the same time, with history all around you. Our night, I believe we were the only ones in the castle area. Very comfortable lodgings and well equipped kitchen. Continental style breakfast was supplied and was ample. Friendly and helpful management/owners.

The cute little property is in a great location and is easy to find. The rooms are clean and there is a lovely common area for guests. The host gave us a book on the area and helped us find an open restaurant when we arrived late. Breakfast was a nice variety of bread, ham, cheese, fruit, juice and coffee.

We loved the authenticity of O Cantinho da Ana and would definitely stay there again. When we drove to this village, we were beginning to think we were on the wrong road, then we crested a hill and suddenly were in the midst of a charming castle village. O Cantinho da Ana was clean, well stocked, and had a comfortable, big bed. Nice modern facilities in an a “middle age” village. There was a lovely outdoor seating area for morning coffee or an evening cocktail. Every detail has been well executed. We regret not staying longer. There is also a restaurant nearby

Cool little village within the old castle walls. We stayed the night but a day visit (1 or 2 hours) would be more than enough time to enjoy this place. If in the area definitely worth the time to visit.
