Excellent staff, amazing breakfast, quiet countryside location with view of the hills, beautiful gardens, only 10 min. drive to urban areas with restaurants, ATM, stores, bars, beaches. Clean and spacious accomodations, plentiful warm water, All in all a great value for the money!

The hotel is close to the beach and in a quiet location. My room was large, clean and everything worked as it should, there was a fridge in the room. Good breakfast for 12€.

Cliff walk! Many middle of the road restaurants - variety without being extraordinary - but very competent. Photos suggest a big beach … not so, for ling walks on the beach, you want a different town.

For me Luz remains a close knit lovely little village.
For me Luz remains a close knit lovely little village. Plently of restaurants and bars but actually quiet, most things closed by 11 to midnight.
Shops are great and Baptista delivers free of charge, i always give a small tip.
I have been many times and feel right at home the minute i arrive.

Lovely town, with most the benefit of it's larger neighbour Lagos but without all the noise and commerciality, but much smaller. Great beach, easy to walk around, relaxed atmosphere, good choice of restaurants and not over-priced.

This is my second time in Luz, I had previously been there about 15 years ago for a long weekend but this was my first time really as a proper holiday. Love it as it very peaceful and quiet and the beach area is just fabulous.

Two good supermarkets close to each other with fresh bakery in each.
Not much in way of any other shops though - you'll need to go to Lagos for that. Might have liked more bars.
Our rate included breakfast, which was buffet style with a big choice of cooked breakfast or cereals, fruit etc. Our room was on the first floor and had an amazing view over the sea from the large balcony. All staff were extremely helpful, friendly and efficient. Housekeeping were excellent! The Hotel is located only a short walk, maybe 10 - 15 minutes from the centre of Luz, in a quiet area only 100 metres or so from the sea
The hotel is very beautiful. It's in the middle of nowhere, in a very quiet and relaxing place, but still very close to Luz and Lagos by car. The pool is awesome and the restaurant has a great view. There is private parking inside. Our room (with the pool view) is very large and has a small kitchen which was very handy.
Super apartment. Perfectly equipped; We have missed nothing. We felt like we were at home. The residence is very quiet. The pool is only 1 minute walk. All restaurants are less than 5 minutes walk away. The situation in Luz is perfect to explore the Algarve. We can really recommend it.
Luz is a beautiful small unspoilt, friendly village. The Baia da Luz is an exceptional resort - immaculately clean and beautifully presented with friendly, helpful reception staff. The apartment was very well designed, spacious and very clean on arrival.
- the receptionist was very helpful and recommended us a lot of cool places around the west and south algarve and also organized us a car rent (luzcars: uncomplicated and good price)
