The building is for sure the best. It's amazing how good architecture perdures. Fortunately the building was kept more or less the same (even though the rooms could be refreshed). I’ve stayed here several times over the last 40 years and I keep admiring how the building takes advantage of the light and of the landscape.

Location is really good because you have 5minute walk to the city centre of Funchal. Parking is under the hotel but you have to pay 10€ per day. Breakfast was really good a lot of choices. Room was nice and clean, the only weird thing is you have window between bed and shower so you can see in the bathroom.
