We had a wonderful time at the Casa Da Lava. With Paola’s information (Google Maps pin and house number) the house was easy to find, even at night. It was absolutely beautiful, clean and comfortable. The wi fi worked perfectly, so did the hot water (no problems with pressure or temperature), and it is NOT filled with insects as other reviews say, we saw a couple but that is only normal when you have nature around (I do not like insects and had no issues). This place is not ideal if you are looking for a modern minimal vibe, but if you like romantic country houses it is very beautiful and we strongly recommend it.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home! The location is unbeatable, right next to natural ocean pools and offering breathtaking views of Mount Pico, the island's iconic landmark. Our host was incredibly welcoming and made sure everything was spotless. The kitchen had everything we needed to feel right at home.
