Wonderful mountain valley, location relaxing, lots of nature. Fresh clean air, good facilities, kindness of hosts.
Bonus: presence of the 3 sheep, two adults and one baby! The most delightful experience the 3 cats on the property with a special memory of Cloe, the youngest and the most full of spunk! We adored her!
Also special mention for the pool quite refreshing on a hot day!

Great breakfast. Great, helpful and friendly staff. Great pool for adults and a small pool for children. This is great because it gives parents the peace of mind needed for a rest. We really enjoyed our stay.

The staff was very welcoming, helpful, and friendly. The facilities are great! Everything is very well maintained and tastefully decorated. It's a shame that we didn't get to enjoy the beach due to such a short stay. I will probably come back

We stayed in the Villa, a smallish one bedroom apartment in one of the original buildings near the pool and breakfast building, which made access very simple. Direct view of river from our bedroom and private patio. (Another guest structure is much further away and is a bit of a walk, so if you have small children or issues walking, pay attention to which room you book). The grounds are very expansive with many hiking trails and picnic areas, even a primitive spring you could hike down to, as well as picnic areas and viewpoints a ways away from the main structures. A donkey and sheep (as well as goats?) can be enjoyed if you’re an animal lover. Very peaceful and quiet. Breakfast was served rather than buffet style, which was a refreshing change as well as complete and high quality with amazing views of the river and countryside.

This is a small town, where there is not much to do in the town itself. We stopped there because it is part of our Vicentina Walk trip. We enjoyed the nature and the woods around the town while hiking up to the hills. It was worth mentioned that the little cafe at the entrance of the local market hall serves good breakfast and sandwiches. I like their service and outdoor area too! I also liked the black pork of Alentejo, very tasty.

Amazing place to rest and relax! Very quiet and comfortable.
Amazing place to rest and relax! Very quiet and comfortable. The host, Mr. José is one of the kindest person I’ve ever met, he tries to make you feel at home. Amazing breakfast with an amazing orange juice. We had access to the kitchen where we could cook to ourselves, get coffee or drinks. Pet friendly. Room was very clean, absolute peace. Also, they let you charge your electric car. I’ll definitely be back. thanks again José for the hospitality.
Very nice environment in the country side, however still near enough to Sao Luis or Vila Nova de Milfontes (10 km).
Very kind and professional reception from the lady there. She was very helpful to arrange taxi booking and restaurant booking. She also made some very positive recommendation. Breakfast was very good too.
The house is nice and simple, but you have everything you need.
We really enjoyed the outside area, the pool and the garden are amazing. São Luis is a lovely place, really quiet but with a lot of cool spots.
The host Patricia is lovely ladie.
We will definitely come back.
This hotel is in a magical area not far from the ocean but hidden in the hills and forests. The facilities are great, the vegetation is amazing, there is a great pool, wonderful staff especially Frederico is very helpful and kind. Amazing place.
A fine accommodation near the walking route Caminho Historico. The room and shower were spacious and clean. And a there is a nice seating area outside. No breakfast offered, but there are several locations to eat close to the hotel.
Nothing luxurious, but functional and practical accommodation in Sao Luis. The room was clean, it had a small kitchenette with a refrigirator and a small patio. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Good value for money.
