This was one of the most beautiful places we've ever stayed. The views, the room, the breakfast....amazing. Plus, the host could not have treated us better! He sat and shared a bottle of wine at sunset. The next day, our train travel was cancelled due to a strike and he drove us over an hour to the bus station. Unbelievable!

Paulo and his daughter, Margarida, were exceptional hosts. The home is tastefully decorated and the view is spectacular. Our 4 day trip included sipping on their delicious wines, walking in the vineyards, relaxing outside with the view, exploring the town, having lunch, taking a river cruise, swimming in the river and having a picnic under the large trees at the bottom of the estates. If total relaxation is your thing, then this home is perfect. We were spoiled every morning with a scrumptious feast for breakfast delivered to our door.

The views of the river and surrounding vineyards was mesmerizing and the property so peaceful, tranquil and romantic. Highly recommend it to any couple. The wine and port tasting was very good. Staff was very attentive, the pool cool refreshing and the view! Please enjoy a gourmet meal from the restaurant on the terrace!
