The hotel is really beautiful about 1.5 hours from Porto. The pool is nice, the room has an amazing view. The breakfast was excellent. Greet costumer service. The main attractions are about 20 m. There are hiking trails near by.

Unbelievable location and stay - recommend booing for 3 nights - one of the few places which felt like home ( during a holiday) and we were taken really good care of. Without saying too much , I think when in Duoro - this is the right option to stay.

Beautiful location, cool cats, gorgeous room, fascinating wine tasting with the owner (extra charge). Very friendly and accommodating host-we hiked around his vineyards, ate at the Quinta Posada and overall had a lovely stay. Highly recommended!

What an amazing place to visit! We had a wonderful New Years Eve dinner that absolutely exceeded our expectations for deliciousness, attention to detail, variety of foods to try and amazing wine suggestions. The whole valley lit up with fireworks at mid-night, such a wonderful surprise! Our discussions with the caretakers added to our understanding of the area, wine/port and history around us. They also had great suggestions of where to visit. The indoor pool was warm and inviting. We stayed in the Bird-Room. The pictures on the site were accurate. There was also a door directly outside from our room, so we could wander out and about.

This is a great place to spend the best time in the Douro Valley and enjoy the surroundings with the best views, terrace vineyards and wineries. The outdoor pool attracts you even more, especially if you have a teenager who wants to spend time around the pool / beach.
