Fantastic experience overall. Great indoor pool, outdoor pool, gym and spa. Unforgettable views of the ocean from the pools and the restaurant. I upgraded for ocean view and really enjoyed it. Breakfast was great as well, a lot of choices including local fresh products.

Very modern looking, spacious apartment. It was very well equipped including washing machine, tumble dryer and cooking appliances. Beds were also very comfortable.
Location couldn't be any better. The apartment is 2 minutes walk away from the beach and there are shops and bakery nearby as well.
Hosts were extremely friendly and helpful whenever we needed anything.

The cottage was very clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen had all the necessary utensils.
Every day the staff came and cleaned and every two days there was a change of towels.
In addition, a beautiful garden inviting to spend time in it.
The pool also looked good, but unfortunately we did not have the opportunity to use it.
The location is very good, if you have a car - there is also a parking lot with a locked gate so there is no problem with leaving the car.
Contact with the hotel staff without a problem.
Overall we were very satisfied with our stay and would recommend :)

The house was perfect for our family of 7 adults and 2 small children. The location is amazing, very close to the beach (you can see the sea from some of the rooms and from the sundeck), and a restaurant and beach bar just around the corner. We used the outside kitchen/barbecue a lot for our dinners. We loved the outdoor space, its of places to sit and relax, and even a jacuzzi!
The staff was very attentive and sincere. We had a delicious breakfast at the Resort daily. The beach was an integral part of a relaxing stay. Once you become accustomed to a round-about, you'll be fine driving. The city of Ribeira Grande is very walkable too.

Lots of hiking around, great beaches, nice local restaurants, bars and coffee shops. Relatively good public transport to get around. Often cheaper to take taxi to get around than renting a car. In total we spent 4 weeks on the Azores and had a rental car for 4 days, this was one too much. Taxi is great for getting almost everywhere. Public transport is somehow good.

The town has some very interesting historical buildings, but it seems the economic turndown took a lot from its better days. Walking there at night was rather a Lovecraftian experience. It's safe, but it's just that there's not much to do there. But it's a small island and the town is right in its middle and it was very handy for the day trips visiting its different parts.

Ribeira Grande is a fantastic place to stay if you're visiting São Miguel. It is located more central than Ponta Delgada while being only a 15 minute car ride away from the airport, so it's the perfect place from which to explore the entire island. An added bonus is that it's right next to the best beaches in São Miguel: most beaches on the island are rocky, the only true sandy beaches are next to Ribeira Grande. We went surfing twice at Santa Bárbara beach, only 10 minutes away from where we stayed in Ribeira Grande. The city itself is fairly small but quaint and has everything you need, including a pretty large supermarket (Continente), some cafes and restaurants, stores, even a laundromat. The only downside is that for vegans/vegetarians it's pretty hard to eat out, but that is true for almost all of the island except a few places in Ponta Delgada.
The host was so kind and helpful. We had our 1 year old with us and they provided a cot, high chair and baby bath for us. It was a great place to stay, very quiet although central to Ribeira Grande. There was a big supermarket a few minutes walk away so we did a lot of cooking in and the shared pool/garden was lovely, even with a washing machine for guest use. With the gates shut we felt very secure and it was lovely and private. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend.
I really liked the location, in a quiet village close to the main spots like Ribeira Grande, Ponta Delgada. The core value was the view from the window: the ocean in all its majesty!
The host has been very kind and helpful from the time I made the booking. She was always available for any questions before the departure, promptly responding and providing hints.
I definitely recommend this place if you want to see and hear the ocean all the time!
Truly amazing house, nicely refurbished, lovely patio with large outdoor kitchen. Three terraces, two of them with sea view. Great location - Ribeira Grande just next, many places within 30 mins drive, you can reach any part of Sao Miguel within 45-50 mins. Beach some 100m only. Extremely kind and helpful owner, regularly checking if we have everything and helping us with services we need.
The best mattress on Azores — so comfortable sleep guaranteed. We had a great sleep. The hotel staff welcomed us in a very friendly and informative way. The hotel has a beautiful design, the room is huge. The location is amazing, right at the city centre. We were provided with towels for thermal pools and bathroom robes which was very nice. Price quality ratio is great.
Practical y comfortable apartment very well located in Ribeira Grande, in a very calm neighborhood, walking distance both from the city center and Santa Barbara beach. The apartment is very bright and spacious. Jaime allowed us to check-in earlier than the official time and has been responsive during our stay.
We absolutely loved this property. It was easy walking to the beach, pool, restaurants etc.
The kitchen had everything we needed to cook in and it was a bonus having a washing machine. We loved that they had a basket of local goodies filled with local products. We loved the back patio too.
This was the most beautiful Hotel we’ve ever stayed in! All the staff just go the extra mile to make your trip exceptional. The breakfast was the best included breakfast, making everything fresh and a la carte. and the room was simply breathtaking! We will definitely come back!
Everything was perfect during our stay. The staff are particularly friendly especially to our little pup Bruno. He had so much fun running around the hotel and the lobby saying hi to everybody. The hotel is definitely the best in the entire island.
This was the perfect place for our little Azores getaway. The staff were friendly, helpful and flexible. The location was great and the breakfast had a lot of variety. The rooms and entire place were spotless. We would definitely stay here again.
This property is right in the heart of Ribeira Grande, and it is stunning! We loved that we were able to swing by the market and make our breakfasts back at the villa. This was a great central location for exploring the whole island.
Beautiful well-kept home in a quiet part of Ribeira Grande that was a perfect base for our travels around the island. João was a helpful and attentive host who always responded quickly to any questions and such a lovely person
This is a lovely place to stay in Ribeira Grande. The rooms are small but well designed. The bad and bedding are comfortable. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is delicious.
Nice beds and good simple breakfast
Because we like to walk to the worth to see city center of Ribeira Grande....you can walk alongside the beach / torndown - and nice new houses
