The kindness of the staff. Everyone was doing their utmost to make us feel at home. Lots of thoughtful details made our stay a great experience for us. Everything you need (eg transfer to airport) they help you to arrange it.
Everybody at the reception, the bar, both restaurants, the spa, all were extremely kind and helpful. The location is great, in a quiet neighbourhood, surrounded by green environment, much nicer than downtown. Excellent spa facilities and a divine hot bath in the pineapple greenhouse, nice after a good hike!. Two very good restaurants so we didn’t feel the need to go outside for dinner. On the day of our early departure even a coffee & breakfast service was provided at 04.00 am. Convenient to park our rental car, taxi to downtown very affordable.

The island of São Miguel is absolutely gorgeous! So much to do, people are super friendly, great restaurants. Every drive in this island is breathtaking! Highly recommended. This property in Rabo de Peixe was absolutely beautiful and very accommodating. The owner is a wonderful man.
