Lovely hotel, extremely clean anc comfortable snd staff could not have been more helpful. Delicious buffet breakfast with a pianist accompanying and excellent restaurant and bar on ground floor with inside snd outside seating overlooking the marina. The property is in a great location, is very clean and has excellent staff who are friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really good and had fantastic variety. The freshly made omelettes or fried eggs were particularly tasty.
What a beautifully managed area of Portugal .
Admittedly it does feel a little like you might be on the set of the Truman Show / Stepford Wives but when you are looking to escape for a week it feels like you are in a perfect bubble. On the flip side its not so great if you are looking for the real Portugal as the area is also full of people with second homes and the prices of everything from drinks to hotel rooms reflect this.
However the area feels super safe to families as there are great beaches and activities which run along with the multitude of golf courses for the adults.
You can pretty much cycle everywhere but also taxis are surprisingly cheap for the area and most hotels run shuttle buses to the beaches.

Perfect accommodation, large terrace, beautiful kitchen with all appliances we needed. Good choice of restaurants in the area. Amazing holiday destination which we will definitely be returning. Only negative point was that there was not a suitcase stand as we do not like to place suitcases on bed when emptying. Beautiful, comfy large bed with large bathroom. Summary =the perfect holiday, thankyou Quinta do Lago Country Club.

Not child/ family friendly. Outdoor pool freezing. Indoor pool reserved for adults only even though when we booked it had children’s times scheduled. Main reason we booked was for the indoor pool. Very isolated if you don’t have a car. Otherwise everything was as expected in a 5star hotel.

You need a rental car unless you want to stay entirely in the hotel. Limited supermarket in walking distance for beverages and chips. In 2,5km distance at the entrance of the resort is shopping Center with a more equipped supermarket.

Quinta do Lago was just beautiful, very high end with plenty of good restaurants to choose from. We were there primarily for golf and the South Course of Quinta do Lago was stunning. Plenty of amazing houses around the course to keep me entertained when I wasn't watching the golf.
We ate out at a variety of different restaurants, Bovinos, Paixa, Tony's, Casa do Lago and The Cheeky Pup, all very different from the next, but all served up top quality food and had a great atmosphere, even at the beginning of November when I would have expected things to have quietened down.
We walked a fair bit around Quinta and I found it exceptionally clean and well tended to. I will definitely be back.

Loved Quinta do Lago even though not golfers. Great friendly relaxed hotel. Stylish modern design and two bedroom suites were perfect for our family. Great breakfast choice. No problem finding subbed. Hotel didn’t feel too big. All staff nice. Enjoyed nice 1 hour circular walk to the beach and on the boardwalk to the lake.
Quiet location close to beach with views of sea in distance . Close to San Lorenzo and Quinta do Lagos golf courses within 20 mins walk. Lovely pool area with cafe bar in complex. Very spacious lounge and main bedroom and whilst not en-suite two bathrooms aswell as two balconies.
Staff are all very nice and always seem to go the extra mile when we stay here. Having a spa, indoor and outdoor pools, restaurants, mini supermarket all on site is such a bonus! The villas are nicely layed out too and the whole resort is always kept tidy inc the gardens.
