The hotel has a large set of facilities like Gym, Indoor and Outdoor swimming pool as well as baby's pool. There is a tenis courtyard and football field. The rustic look of the hotel is very charming although not so practical specially for guests staying in the first floor. The staff is amazing and always looking to please the guests. The breakfast is the normal continental with some nice house made pasteis de nata. The reception staff went the extra mile to make sure everything was ok with our stay.

Nice and Cultural rich city but seems to be crowded with tourists and not so quiet anymore. You can get excellent food at "Trancoso" or "Avenida" restaurants. Near Gerês so you can drive and visit but again expect a lot of traffic due to tourists (in August, at least).

The hotel it’s unique as style,what I found weird that only 3 people were running the place

Maybe they were short of staff,I have to say staff is very nice but for that big hotel only 3 people running the business
Our room was not clean none of the days
After first night we went at the room at 4 a clock pm and they were going to clean the room
The pool area is great, and the room is good, too. The hotel's location is absolutely stunning, but that doesn't help much if your objective from the start was to stay in the hotel and relax for the entire time.
Everything was amazing, pool, very close to Gerês and Póvoa de Lanhoso, the owners were awesome very nice people, they helped with anything we needed, we will definitely come back soon.
