It was the best stay we had. Everything was perfect 😍 The house are fully furnished, there were more than we expected, a lot details which we found at the house did our stay comfortable. From our check-in to check-out experience, everything was perfect. Superb customer service, friendly and supportive! The accommodation was big enough for two people with well equiped kitchen including a coffee machine (Dolce Gusto), an oven, washing machine and few spices. We especially appreciated a spacious balcony. The flat is few steps from a grocery shop and the swimming pool. We received very comprehensive instruction how to self check-in and check-out and the owner even sent as pictures where to park for free (there is a big free parking slot closer to the free swimming pool). I would highly recommend this accommodation for those who'd like to stay in beautiful and peaceful town of Porto Moniz.

Loved the sea pools, with cafe for after swim drinks. and the peaceful evening walks. Easy to catch a bus further afield. Harder to get to levada walks than I expected, and I would avoid the ones that come back down steep hills to coast - rough and dangerous surfaces

This is not a sand beach vacation. There are tidal pools to swim in if the weather cooperates. Be aware that the north side of the island is cooler and more likely to rain. We enjoyed our 2 night stay by the ocean but that was enough

A beautiful little town with the most beautiful swimming in Madeira in natural pools with sea water and sea fish. Protected from the waves and great for bathing and swimming, in a beautiful wild nature surrounded by rocks. Everything is close by car, the most beautiful levadas, the Fanal forest. Really spend more days.

We were driving around Madeira Island for 8 days & Porto Moniz was 1 of the most scenic area, beautiful rocky formations with the natural pools. We only stayed overnight, but wished we could have spent more time here, experience swimming the natural pools. Beautiful instamagramable picturisque views. We highly recommend Porto Moniz.

the ocean view is amazing.
The city has both natural and paid natural pools, where the only option is to swim.
if you are a fish lover, there are really many good restaurants in this city.
for us, the tastiest fish was Espada.
It is also a great place to visit the Fanal forest, the Telegrafico gondola and the Rabacal area.
for us, who are fans of bends, steep roads, beautiful nature and of course the sea, this part of the island was the most beautiful.
The place is clean in front of the ocean and the natural pools (don’t miss them during the sunset).

The city is small and you can reach any place by walking. Free parking in the night up to 12 am (perfect if you stay there just one night).
Tony is a very nice person, he does anything by himself and he makes you feeling at home.
Great choice to enjoy Porto Moniz, maybe one of the best nights I can remember during our holiday in Madeira.
If Porto Moniz is on your list then this should be the hotel to go! We loved here every minute! Staff very friendly and amazingly clean hotel with an amazing pool on the roof top! We will be coming back here!!
