Everything! The staff are amazing-very attentive to ensuring a comfortable, serene, and enjoyable stay. We were lucky enough to spend 5 nights at Hotel Paco de Vitorino. The grounds are beautiful and include a large pool. The bed was 10 out of 10 for comfort. . It felt like we were on a retreat, yet close enough to drive to Ponte de Lima, Ponte de Barca, Guimaraes, Braga & explore the Minho region. It was an unforgettable experience!!! Thank you!! We were lucky in that we were upgraded to their new apartment unit. Other clients were doing the Camino ad leaving early and our hostess wanted to make sure we weren't awakened. It was one street away and very roomy and nice, close to sights and restaurants.

Ponte de Lima is a lovely little town. Very quiet, even in July/August. Not too many really good restaurants, and most tend to focus on the hearty local food! If you want a traditional lunch, try A Torre. The river is perfect for swimming in. The restaurant in the golf club is nice as well.

A lovely neat, friendly town with very helpful people and beautiful scenery. Pilgrims meal was affordable and tasty! Our pilgrim send off with a bell ringing 'ceremony' was memorable. Overall a lovely place to stay and easy to get around.

Ponte de Lima is a perfect place for a pilgrim on the Camino to take a rest day. Perfect place to get your laundry done properly, catch up with your sleep. Lots of nice restaurants to eat in. Many interesting alleys to walk through and enough sights to take in a day.

Ponte de Lima is a remarkably well-preserved, historically important village in Northern Portugal. It has been a crossroads for centuries. Probably for a Druids-like culture, definitely for the Romans, for hundreds of thousands of pilgrims walking the historic Camino (Caminho in Portuguese), as well as for people traveling east-to-west from the mountains to the Atlantic.
Today, Ponte de Lima continues to be an important crossroads as well as gathering space for walking & hiking, cyclists, various forms of boating (with a champion training center along the Rio Lima), horse riding, international gardening and more.
It's hard to fully explain how much cultural importance there is in Ponte de Lima for the Minho (region), Portugal (as a country), and, indeed, all of Europe in such a small village. Well worth visiting.
I spent three weeks there, fell in love with the village, and like it so much that I intend to move there.

The village is beautiful as well as the bridge, which we walked from end to end. There were several good restaurants to choose from. Everything is within walking distance. There are great sculptures spread throughout town. We would come again.

You can use a code to get into the property, there was no need to check-in, there is no need to meet anyone to get keys, and you can get into the property at any time with ease, it's literally at the heart of ponte de lima. There's a really nice restaurant right in front of it and it's close from several landmarks.
The place was super clean, nice and cozy. Not too large, but for the price, it was excellent!
The view from the terrace with pool is really wonderful. Best place to be! The owners are very kind and helpful, you can call them any time and you can communicate via whatsapp, which is very conveniant. The appartment was big enough for 4 people and was clean. From Ponte de lima you can easily explore the north of Portugal, within an hour's drive you can visit many different places.
Best quality-price ratio ever seen, this is an awesome pension surrounded by vineyards. The property has a nice garden that invites to relax and comes with a comunitary room where you can take meals. The medieval bridge of Ponte de Lima is just a 20 mins walk away, so it´s still reachable by foot.
The location is about 8km outside of Ponte de Lima, which took us off the Camino route but the facilities were very good, with very welcome air conditioning after walking from Barcelos in 30 degrees plus temperature. There is also a swimming pool. The receptionist was friendly and helpful.
