What is a pleasant surprise to find this small rural B&B! Very quiet and peaceful location, comfortable bed, traditional Portuguese casa layout. We loved common room with chairs and fireplace. Peter, our host, made us feel welcomed and well cared. Breakfast was exquisite with homemade jams, honey, yogurt with granola and fruits, etc. Mosteiro's River Beach is only 5 min drive and it was really nice to swim on hot day. Keep in mind it is a small village, no restaurants or nightlife but we consider it as advantage. I hope more people will discover this place and stay with Peter and Lineke

The property was lovely and the cottage was so darling and comfortable! Sue was so approachable and treated us to an exceptional breakfast! We loved Mr. McGee!

Lee and Debbie make you feel at home in their perfectly refurbished village house full of beautiful details and surrounded by quiet Portuguese countryside. Their commitment to promoting local products and businesses makes the stay - and breakfast - extra special.

The accommodation was adequate, however there was a huge problem with being able to access the property via a code ( which only worked sometimes ), also the front door mostly did not let you exit the house . I complained many times to the owner and he just said it was user error . That is not ok , especially not even being able to open the front door to leave is a safety issue. I looked back on past reviews and saw that other people who had booked this house also had the same problem .

The surroundings was really quiet. there was really beautiful sensory around the apartment. It was close to a lot of beautiful lakes and nature.

My stay at Vilar das Condes was just exceptional. Nestled in the heart of nature, this apartment offers a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The apartment itself is beautifully decorated with a unique and charming style that makes it feel cozy and luxurious at the same time. One of the highlights is the massive terrace, where I spent countless hours soaking in the tranquil atmosphere and enjoying the breathtaking views. In the morning, I was delighted to find a basket of breakfast waiting for me, filled with fresh, delicious items that made starting the day a true pleasure. The attention to detail in everything, from the breakfast to the overall ambiance, is truly impressive. The pool is another standout feature—it's beautiful, well-maintained, and perfectly positioned to enjoy the surrounding landscape. Whether you’re taking a morning swim or lounging by the pool in the afternoon, it’s a wonderfully relaxing experience. Lastly, the staff at Vilar das Condes are incredibly helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to ensure my stay was comfortable and memorable, providing excellent service without being intrusive. Overall, Vilar das Condes is an exceptional place to stay. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway with top-notch facilities and a touch of nature, this is the perfect spot. I can’t wait to return!
