Simple, but with all the basics you'd need for a one night stay. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was more on the hard side (which is my preference anyway), so I slept very well.

The hotel is embedded with a church and was rebuilt upon a medieval hospital. Hence, it's like living in a monastery while walking in the wide area of corridor, courtyard, bar and restaurants. Besides, the backyard swimming pool looks fabulous.
The excellent location allows an easy hangout around the beautiful downtown of Braga.
The buffet breakfast is very good, but the exceptional is the internal restaurant with an upper level of classic Portuguese cuisines and reasonable price.
Situated right next to Braga Train Station, Basic Braga by Axis features modern, air-conditioned rooms. The 24-hour staff can arrange car rentals and laundry/dry cleaning services.

This was our second time staying at this hotel, which is located right next to the train station—a perfect spot for easy access. We stayed for just one night while attending a music festival, and getting around Braga was simple using Uber. Breakfast was included, which added great value to the stay.
Situated in Nogueiró, this 3-star hotel is just 3 km from Braga Se Cathedral and 1 km from Minho University. It features a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi throughout the property.

I enjoyed the coffee machine that is available 24 hours a day. The staff was very friendly and polite. The location was perfect, there are a lot of grocery stores and a great restaurant only a ten minute walk away. The room was clean, the bed was huge.
