Stunning location. So peaceful and relaxing. We stayed for 2 nights and wish we had stayed longer. The breakfast was amazing the beds were so comfortable...it was spotlessly clean. Lying on our terrace listening to the rippling water birdsong and the faint sound of goats bells while looking at the beautiful scenery was just lparadise.

A wonderful place to stay with so much character and history in the building. The best aspect of the stay here was the warmth and friendliness of Sandra and Isabel who hosted us. There is also a nice, big, safe parking at the rear of the premises. And don't miss the breakfast - wonderful!

Very nice hotel with beautiful views. We stayed in a junior suite with was very comfortable with huge bathroom and private balcony. Very good bed and spacious room. Staff was welcoming and trough out our 3 night stay attentive. Great area for hiking our just relaxing at the large outdoor pool. Food in the restaurant was very good and affordable. We were very happy to choose this accommodation in rural Portugal.

This hotel is in a great location. We went for the Festa do Queijo and it was easy to walk to all of the events and literally just about everywhere in the town. It was only about a 10-15 minute walk from the bus station to the hotel so we never needed to call a taxi.
The hotel also has a very nice hot tub and swimming pool which we used as well. It sure was nice to soak in the hot tub after a long day of walking, standing and tasting all of the local goodies!
The property was exceptional, the building was around 123 years old but you would think it was built yesterday, Hugo's mum runs the place and is a lovely lady who cant do enough for you, excellent secure parking, and really good continental breakfast, Mum doesn't speak English but should you need anything she wil ring Hugo who does,next to the hotel isa chemist, bar/supermarket and post office
Next level hotel - outstanding customer service and fantastic rooms. I was made very welcome and looked after as a solo cyclist, the staff could not do more. Breakfast was one of the best I have ever had - so much so, I had all the early morning energy to complete my bike ride to the top of the mountain!
we loved everything about this place: the big stylish rooms, the wonderful breakfast and the nice river right in the hotel where we could use the sap and the kayaks. and most of all we liked the excellent staff: so kind and helpful. thank you 😊
The hotel is very pretty. Great surroundings & the pool is great. It was a little busy at the pool but still nice. The rooms are simple but clean. Staff was very helpful & good.
