This was my second stay in a B&B Hotel,
Very clean, nice bright room. Excellent staff and very close to airport. I would stay here again and highly recommend it. There is no airport shuttle however, the staff will arrange a morning taxi to pick you up if you arrange it with them the night before. A nice perk.
Located in the heart of historical Matosinhos, the 2-star Hotel Senhor de Matosinhos offers air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi. It has a 24-hour front desk and free parking available on site.

Airy, bright, handy for the sea and for Porto. Excellent transport - metro and 500 bus round the coast with lovely views. Transport is cheap with an Andante card that you can use on both. Handy shops and restaurants.

Super family room with child bed in slightly separate wing for privacy. This hotel was ideally situated to attend the Porto U11 International Football Tournament. It was also so close to local transport links it would enable tours of old town and new, visit port outlets etc. all very easy to accomplish.

The port is an interesting look around and fish market, expect it to be a bit smelly though it’s a huge working port

We loved that we did not need to rent a car (Uber was always a few minutes away). There were many activities to do: Beach, water sports, Restaurants, Casa da Guitarra Fado show, Porto & Wine Tasting. The city is walkable and full of small interesting shops and buildings. I highly recommend Bacalhau in Muro dos Bacalhoeiros 153 - 155
4050-080 Porto for lunch. 100 Fome Restaurant Rua do Godinho 121
4450-148 Matosinhos for dinner and a visit to the Mercado Municipal Matosinhos Rua do Cde de São Salvador 372 4450-264 to eat a fresh and tasty lunch at Diga Maria’s Top floor also street entrance.

I would not stay in the suites again but enjoyed the locality of the old town of Matosinhos and it’s very nice beach. There is a very moving sculpture on the beach about the tragic loss of the fishing fleet and many men from the town, during a terrible storm in the last century. There are many really good traditional restaurants with delicious traditional Portuguese food, away from the beach area. The public transport is good with Metro and bus connections to central Porto. There are many beautiful art nouveau and art deco era buildings in the town.
Really nice hotel close to the Matosinhos beach. Really nice pool, spa and sauna. Small but sufficient gym. Very clean. Great staff. It's also close to the airport and therefore great for the first or last day in Porto. But you could definitely spend more days here.
Such a lovely house which felt homely, clean and comfortable. The pool was such a treat at the end of the day. Matosinhos was a perfect distance from Porto and transport links were amazing, so many restaurants and bars nearby too that Ivo recommended.
I love Matosinhos and this hotel was a very good option to stay there again. The price is very good compared to Porto and the quality is great for that price. Clean, big rooms, nice bed which is the most important. I'd highly recommend this hotel
Much better than expected. My usual hotels were fully booked and I had to give a try a new hotel. Simple but comfortable and clean. Very modern and guest friendly.
Great location with beach access in 3 minutes. The new face of Porto with the latest rezoning facing the waterfront area redevelopment district. Brand new hotel.
