Character hotel in a beautiful setting. Room was clean and comfortable. Claudia and the owner were very friendly and helpful. There is a village 1km away but for us the hotel had everything we needed. We cooked our own evening meal in the well equipped kitchen. Breakfast was provided and very tasty.

The owner, Marisa is exceptional. Almost all the food we had for breakfast was from her produce. She baked the bread in the morning.

The accommodation was a lovely converted house with a wine press that is still on display. The location was great as it was in the centre of Marialva so we could visit the village and castle in the morning. The house was very clean and the rooms were comfortable. Dona Guida and her family were very welcoming and prepared a wonderful breakfast in the morning with local and homemade products. Everything had a very personal touch and we just felt like we were at home. We would definitely return and recommend to anyone visiting the area.
It's a lovely location, quiet with a great hill top breeze. The pool is really beautiful and I love the fact the swallows come every summer and skim the top of the water for a seconds as they fly over it. The space is really nice, breakfast is good and the hotel offers a lot of activities you can book up. The Wine tasting at Quinta do Ermervoira (spelling) and the boat trip are particularly good. If you go with children book one the suites- great value for a whole family. Also a very romantic spot for a couple.
it is a property of three houses with a swimming pool. The owners live in one of the houses, a very friendly and helpful couple.
the construction of the houses is quite recent and they offer comfort conditions (example air conditioning)
We really enjoyed the days we spent at the house, allowing us to get to know Marialva, one of the 12 historic villages in Portugal, as well as other locations/areas in the region (example Foz Côa)
We loved this small hotel in the center of the medieval town. It was unexpected to see how well they transformed a quinta into a cozy, comfortable 9 room B & B. The staff were all friendly and helpful. It is a peaceful town and lodging for a few days of relaxation and exploration of the town and castle.
The location, the building, the gardens, pool . The breakfast choice was phenomenal better than a 5 star hotel breakfast. The host Patricia was lovely, very hospitable and there was plenty of room for my dog to run around. Very peaceful.
