Lisbon is a stunning city with so much to do and seee, we stayed for 7 nights and managed to fill every day with plenty to do, see, eat and drink.
Highly recommend walking, although they say Lisbon is hilly, it's really not that bad. We did a guided Tour on the first day (Search Around Lisbon) with was fantastic. It really helped find our way around the city and we saw even more that we imagined along with the guides knowledge.

The city atmosphere was friendly and welcoming.
The city atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. The food particularly the sea food was excellent quality and affordable. The cobbled lanes in the historic areas were wonderful to stroll around. The team system particularly the historic old trams were a joy. Tram 28 is a must. Purchase 24hr public transport tickets cost 7 euros per person and were great value. We enjoyed Lisbon very much.

Lisbon is a great city, lots of restaurants and bars as well as loads of cultural sites to explore. So easy to access from the airport. Trams, metro and walking options to travel around.we visited in January which was really nice, sunny and warm in the day, bit chilly at night.

Walkable, if hilly. Very good and cheap public transport.
Walkable, if hilly. Very good and cheap public transport. Riding the trams shows you a lot and the metro is good for longer distances, while there is a good train service to such places as Sintra and Cascais.
Easily found good small restaurants with traditional dishes within a short distance of our hotel.
The Oceanarium was most impressive and a worthwhile visit on a wet day.

An excellent short break location.
An excellent short break location. The centre is compact with all attractions easily accessible on foot or by cheap and efficient public transport system.
Plenty of choice and variety of places to eat with food quality consistently good. Prices reasonable compared to other European cities.
The centre is clean and felt safe at all times. Lack of litter and very few people smoking were plus points for us.
3 days gave us enough time to explore the city and to visit Cascais. However we could easily have spent another day or two visiting museums or taking a trip to Sintra.
We found the Cathedral slightly disappointing but otherwise everything met or exceeded our expectations.
Particular highlights included riding on the trams and visiting various viewpoints, including the Castle, for superb views over the City and beyond. Cascais is also well worth a visit on a nice day.

Lisbon is a wonderful historic city.
Lisbon is a wonderful historic city. It's so easy to get around with trams Ubers, taxis, buses and best of all walking the time back streets lanes and stairways. There are so many delicious cafes restaurants and bars to visit and sample.
The standout feature for me was the generosity of the Lisbon people. Everyone was helpful, happy and and generous with their time patience and expertise.

Our flight was cancelled and we had to book a hotel in Lisbon overnight- couldn’t have stayed in a better place! The staff were so lovely and warm, the bed was extremely comfortable for our aching bodies, and we were chuffed with the slippers and bathrobes! After an exhausting day sorting out new flights and accommodation, we got the best night’s sleep ever thanks to the lovely bed! The location is fab, very central and we were able to potter around Lisbon to see the sights while waiting to go to the airport. Would definitely recommend.
The best boutique hotel we have stayed in so far in Lisbon. Just perfect at a good price. This is the second of the Lisbon Heritage Collection hotels we have stayed in - the other, Janelas Verdes Inn, was almost as good. The location is perfect, great room, beautiful, understated décor, outstanding breakfast and wonderful staff. Fair parking price. Also decent food in the bar. I've run out of superlatives. We have tried maybe a dozen different hotels in Lisbon and this now goes to the top of our list.
Hotel is nice and clean. It's modern..the indoor pool was very expensive to use it was €37 for two people and two swimming hats and it was freezing cold. Location is a bit outside of the main center but its very cheap to get a taxi. Good food is very hard to find in Lisbon. Unless you like seafood you are going to be hungry. Hard rock cafe was probably the best food we found. Lisbon is a nice place very clean and alot of nice buildings and monuments.
This should be a 5 star hotel not a 4. Staff were amazing. Rooms were modern, spacious and extremely clean. One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Thank you Bessa !!
