Staff was fantastic, pretty good value for money and yummi breakfast. I went there for Boom Festival and the location is perfect, about 30 min from the festival.

Estela, the owner/host is a wonderful human. She is so nice, accommodating and just a pleasure to be around and talk with. The location is great, as you can't really travel much further through the town with a vehicle. It's one of the last stops. The rooms were clean and pleasant, best described as simple and elegantly, rustic! Very unigue, as they are build into the rock. We are a family of 4 so we had to reserve 2 rooms to accommodate everyone. Very affordable, so no big deal. Very simple rooms, but a bonus is that they do have air conditioning and you can park right next to the property. It can get pretty hot there. Estela made a delicious, fresh, homemade breakfast for us that was 10 euro per person. Totally worth it.

This property is situated in a small village which is a good starting point for the route of the historical villages. Despite the language barrier, as we do not speak Portuguese, we had no problem communicating. Our host Laura Mendes is a charming, attentive person who makes the best coffee in Portugal and a good breakfast. Her son who speaks English helped us when we arrived with all of the information. Provisions can be found in the village or close by at Orca, there is a small grocery and restaurant or there is the town of Lardosa not too far.

I stayed in the hotel for 1 week due to working in the area for that time. The beds were comfortable, the staff helpful and the breakfast was decent. We tried also the hotel swimming pool which was sufficient, however, it seemed that they clean it only once a week. Plus points also that the hotel is pet-friendly (I did not have a pet with me, but it was good to know).
The location of the Hotel was just ideal as it is the entrance to the village and the staff were very welcoming.
Went for a lovely swim in the pool which was of a very decent size.
The breakfast was one of the best I have experienced for a very long time and that is no exaggeration.st
