Firstly, there is a big error on the Selina Hotel website, it is not a hotel but a hostel.
This point really deceived me. I booked a separate room and when I arrived at the hotel I was informed that my reservation was for a room with 12 people. I almost fainted.....
It was late at night and luckily the reception put me in a room with 6 people. I didn't like it because that night a very drunk girl arrived in the room in a very bad condition. She knocked over a cabinet that made a horrible noise. Turning on several lights and talking loudly. It was scary.
I didn't like being in a room with strange people. And I was deceived by the website, which offered a hotel and not a hostel.

The location is very central and good when you visit Porto for only a few days. Around the hotel are many little restaurants which are open until late in the evening.
Personal is friendly and helpful. It is apparently an old establishment and oozes the charme of history.

Checkin availability - we arrived later than intended because of our taxi not showing up, the hotel were able to accommodate, and upon checkout were able to hold our bags for us before our afternoon flight
