Everything. The bed was very comfortable; room was well lit and also had good blackout curtains with a thoughtful design, good for travelers with a nice desk and excellent shower. Good breakfast and free parking and great staff. We loved the location to walk around the old city and wish we had stayed 3 or 4 nights rather than just 2.

Évora is a beacon of heritage in the heart of rural Portugal. Life is played out among narrow, cobbled streets and whitewashed buildings that provide welcome shade. Most buildings are decorated with blue or yellow trim, giving this laidback city a coherent feel.
Blue tiles adorn the incredible interior of the Misericórdia Church, and the Church of St John the Evangelist also features this typical Alentejo style. The most outlandish is the Church of St Francis where one chapel is created entirely from human bones and skulls.
The Gothic cathedral has a peaceful cloister and next door is Évora Museum with its collection of medieval, Islamic and Roman artefacts. In the large square in front sit remains of the Roman Temple, and Roman bath ruins lie under the town hall.
The Palace of the Dukes of Cadaval has a turret-like tower, similar to those in the city walls. One of Évora’s most impressive monuments – the 16th-century Silver Water Aqueduct – passes right through the walls and used to end in large Praça do Giraldo, the city centre’s main square. Some of its stone arches have been cleverly bricked in to create bars and restaurants.
Booking.com’s accommodation in Évora includes luxury hotels with pools, cheap hostels near the train station and guest houses by the university.

Beautiful place with lovely architecture, good restaurants, cafes, and small shops. Great to wander around. The locals were all very helpful. We also took a couple of trips out (local bus and a private tour) to nearby places of interest.

It is a lovely town - great to wander about.
It is a lovely town - great to wander about. We were glad to be there in November as it was quieter and easy to get around and into restaurants. We had lovely weather too. The food we ate was incredible - Algeria's e Vinho was AMAZING - such good value for incredible food and service. Origins was great too - more expensive but it is in the Michelin Guide. Highly recommend both,

Lovely old city with more to see than expected, we stayed only 1 night, but should have stayed longer. We arrived there easily by train from Lisbon and used a taxi through the town to our hotel. The inner old city is the best to explore on foot, and easily walkable for all the great sites.

This was one of my favorite stops in our tour of Portugal. Loved the history, food, and people, but also really enjoyed the quaintness of this smaller city. Full of charm, and I really enjoyed our time here.

Évora is a beautiful ancient city seemingly mostly experienced by day trippers from Lisbon. Staying in the town allowed us to experience the sites before it got too crowded and the authentic off the beaten path town after they leave. Easy drive from Lisbon. Very walkable.

This Hilton is better than other Hiltons of the same kind. The staff were super professional and kind. The room was bright and clean. All other areas from the lobby to the roof pool were very clean, comfortable and well designed. The breakfast was very rich. It was a nice treat to reserve this hotel for ourselves. Great rest at the beautiful Evora. The hotel can serve as a model for all hotels.
Great location. We were able to park in front of the hotel - not certain how many other parking spots were available but there are 5 in front. What a wonderful breakfast and display. This hotel has been renovated and it is a must see. The renovations include some very interesting features - extensive use of mirrors. It is a must see and a must stay. We will be back if we come back to Portugal.
The host is a wonderful man. He likes to share with his guests. We were very interested in his life story. And the history of his beautiful house. We experienced something very special, a journey in the history of Portugal. The house is located in the historical centre of Evora. We can walk to all the interesting sites. We had a lovely time. A pure delight.
The Olive Hotel is very well located, very near of the centre of Evora. Check-in was very efficient. The hotel has a very nice parking (free) and quite a good breakfast. It has a spa, which we did not use. The air conditioning is good and the hotel motivates to optimise it to avoid energy waste. The room was large.
A lovely historic hotel with a helpful convivial host who couldn't do enough for us. A very comfortable room with a shower room & tolet leading off it. Lovely walled garden with a large swimming pool. Excellent breakfast too.
Would highly recommend to anyone wishing to visit the city of Evora.
