At the end of a short walk, this gorgeous resort is right at the end of the road and the beach surf is heard from your balcony. The pool was beautiful, there’s a bowling alley, great breakfast, super comfortable beds and great shower. We had a great time here.

Lovely hostel with the lovliest still hostess:) The whole place is well kept, clean and with well equipped kitchen. The beds are comfy and the number of bathrooms was enough to have a comfortable access to them. It was my first time in a hostel and it was a great experience. I strongly recommend.

A very lovely little town, with lots of nice cafes and restuarants to choose from. Especially liked the italian pizzeria in the town square, food was delicious. There were also some nice shops. A museum in the town, and a craft market every 3rd Sunday in the month. A lovely promenade with a children's play park on the front.

We did not actually go to Esposende. As booking.com should be perfectly well aware, our hotel is situated in Ofir which is probably about 5 km away. The nearest town is Fão in respect of which please see comments elsewhere.In any event I have been to Esposende before and it is pleasant enough but not the centre of the universe

All the good restaurants are outside Esponsende - mainly in Apulia. A nice little hike or short taxi ride. Bridge to Fao needs some TLC, at least if you walk over it. Fantastic views, but the rusty bits on the footpath high above the water are somewhat anxiety-inducing (and I even heard that from experienced Camino walkers ...) Would not walk over a second time ...

Esposende was one of the best places to stay that we have...
Esposende was one of the best places to stay that we have had on this trip for the Camino de Santiago. The people that run the hotel are wonderful and very friendly. Everything is very clean and they have a great lounge with a good kitchen to make what you want. I would recommend them and their rooms to anyone going to that area.

We thought everybody had left town.
We thought everybody had left town. The whole place was strangely quiet and deserted. We struggled to find an open place to eat. It was early September. A lot of derelict buildings.
Just about good enough for a one night Camino stopover.

The Villa is lovely for a large group of people. We had a family of 10 and the kids loved the pool. We enjoyed Esposende as well. The villa is very well situated only 15 minute walk from the main area. The sea breeze kept the villa nice and cool throughout the day.
