Location of the hotel is excellent, right in the centre of the old town. We drove to Sintra and took up the private car park offer that is just a short walk away. Not only were our cars secure, on departure day the staff will collect the car and park it near by the hotel.
All the staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful, especially Ella on the day of check in who gave us lots of information and great recommendations for eating out and extra things to do. Take her up in it. The rooms were clean, well equipped with a Nespresso coffee machine and capsules, still and sparkling water and a free mini bar, and the beds were very comfortable.
We loved the little reading room where you find a Nespresso coffee machine with a good selection of capsules and even some mini pastries, a lovely touch.
This location was great. You can choose to stay in the town and enjoy the beach, restaurants, etc or venture to other nearby attractions like Praia Grande & Arribas Saltwater Pool, Azenhas do Mar pool, or take the trolly (or drive) to Sintra and other towns in the area.
My young kids and I enjoyed going to the beach around sunset/low tide to walk the beach, enjoy the small pools of water, etc.
