This place is a GEM in the Alentejo region.
Conveniently located and tranquil, it is close to the town center, close to restaurants, shops and to hubs to travel to different locations.
Parking is available right in front of the premises.
As you enter the building, the cleanliness is evident and the reception area is very well lit.
The staff are friendly, courteous and helpful.
The rooms are tended to daily and are very clean, from the bathroom and towels to the bed linen. The towels in the bathroom are Snow White, so are the bed sheets!
All rooms have a balcony to take advantage of the region’s fresh air and landscape.
The swimming pool is a welcome addition and if you don’t bring a towel, they will provide one for you. It is also tended to daily and very clean.
The included breakfast, has some of the goodies from the region, cheeses, cold cuts and jams, besides the coffee and juices.

We arrived early after a long day of cycle touring to be greeted warmly by the proprietor and receptionist, served cold orange juice, had our bikes stored securely and shown to our immaculate room before we hoped possible. This attention to our comfort, the cleanliness and modernity of the hotel and the excellent and generous breakfast made our short stay memorable. Highly recommended!

We highly recommend this lovely and welcoming oasis of tranquillity, quality and care
Sophia has renovated the house beautifully with no regard to expense. The rood top terrace ( with excellent loungers and a wonderful view) the pool and the dining room are excellent.
Because we are biking Sophia arranged a nice home cooked dinner for us and went to a lot of trouble to make sure that everything worked well for us

This was a fantastic place that we stayed on our way to Lisbon. This is an absolutely beautiful place in the country. It is impeccably manicured and very well kept up. The lady who runs it is very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, ac was cold, wifi was fast, bed was comfortable room was big, bathroom was clean...perfect, absolutely perfect. We took time to take a dip in the very large pool that very enjoyable. We got a drink from the bar and it was quick and delicious! The lady who runs it cooked dinner for us fresh and it was delicious. It was a local dish...pork and shells with potatoes in a wine and butter sauce. WOW!!! We wish we would have had time to stay for a few days! If you are anywhere close...come and stay here...you will be very impressed and enjoy your stay.

Hosts were very kind and attentive, the room was clean and as described, and I was able to arrange a breakfast rather early with no issues and even requested to be able to do some laundry on premises which they were OK with and were kind enough to help me with. It was very easy to get in and out of the property as well.
I'll be returning.

Very quiet and peaceful. The staff is incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful. Very nice breakfast each morning, even though I was the only guest my first 2 mornings there.
Castro Verde is a small town but staying in this...
Castro Verde is a small town but staying in this accommodation means you can walk to most things needed, such small supermarket, bank, hardware stores and there was even a market of stalls at the bottom of the street one day.
It has a large church (Basilica) at the top of the hill and sometimes small concerts are held here. The Tourist information office is just behind this building.
Plenty of cafes and some good restaurants owned and operated by local people. There is also a large Lidl and InterMarche supermarket opposite each other, at the south end of the small town.
It is a great base to explore other places in the region. Car parking can be a little hit and miss but on each day I found somewhere free on the streets, not too far away.
The area is also known for its bird watching and tranquil spaces, but not somewhere for nightlife or noise, which is an attraction in itself of course. I will certainly visit again.

Delightful little boutique hotel in the charming village of Casével near the Alentejo town of Castro Verde. The service from the family that run the hotel is fantastic. We had a lovely, spacious room with very good wifi. The hotel is spotless and beautifully refurbished in a modern rustic style. There is a small swimming pool in the central patio and a terrace overlooking the rolling countryside. We were served an excellent dinner for a great price. The town is quiet and beautifully preserved.
Another boutique gem in Portugal.
The perfect oasis for relaxation and peace. The staff is the friendliest you could hope for and the houses are superb and the location secluded enough for privacy but close to Castro Verde for exploring.
Well located studio in village house. Easy check-in. Lovely hosts who were really helpful when we ran into trouble with our bicycles. Great bathroom. Strong WiFi. Castro Verde is a lovely town.
This was a gem of a find!
Jorge was great at the desk, very kind and helpful!
