It was spacious and clean with easy parking. Easy five minute drive to Carvoeiro and Benigal cave area. The grounds were nice with easy access to a lovely little beach. Sea view from the bedroom with a nice little balcony. Too cold to swim, but the pool looked very inviting. Wireless access was great. Front desk staff was nice and responsive. Breakfast was decent. I would absolutely stay at Pestana Palm Gardens again.

Pristine clean, tastefully decorated, very comfortable bed, nice linens and towels. Quiet. Family run hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Nice outdoor areas and pool, but it was bad weather. Location is on the road to Carvoeiro, we had a theater date in Lagoa, 5 min. Drive. Convenient for us, free parking. All good, nothing fancy but very nice. Great breakfast included.

Carvoeiro is very hilly and I would recommend a car. Fantastic coastal walk along the cliffs.

Nice, cosy place. A bit inadequate prices in comparison with the rest of Portugal. Sad that European cuisine has become dominant. Fortunately, in some 15 min drive here and there, you can find smth delicious and authentic.

We had a good time at the hotel and really appreciated the views and services. However for some reason I was charged twice for the stay and my credit card statement showed double charges. I have reached out to the hotel via phone and email, so far no response has received. I hope booking can help to solve the issue.

Loved our hotel right on the square but we couldn't believe that Carvoeiro does not clean up the seaweed that is about 20 inches high piled on the beach! Why not just rake it and haul it off? Also, they need to remove the graffiti on the buildings, that takes away from the beautiful views!

Excellent setting with cliff top boardwalks and easy access to the best hike (7 hanging valleys) in the Algarve. Town was small and easy to walk around in, the restaurants and bars were busy of course and the access to kayaks and cave-visiting boats was 10/10.

We like Carvoeiro because it’s located in the center of the Algarve. Ideal location to most attractions. It is not crowded nor too touristy.
The board walk from Algar Seco to Carvoeiro or vise versa is an ideal spot for watching the sunset.

Great staff, who were really helpful & spoke excellent English. The place was very clean & with good facilities. It is in a quiet & peaceful location, but only a 15 minute walk to the centre of town & 5 minutes to the nearest shop & restaurant. It is only ¢4 in a taxi to the centre of Carvoeiro if you don't want to walk.
Spacious and Airy apartment. Spotlessly clean. Very comfortable and accommodated all our requirements. The rooftop terrace is a real added bonus. Great for family BBQ time and sundowners admiring the excellent view over Carvoeiro. The owners of the apartment were an absolute pleasure to deal with.
Spacious apartment with a beautiful sea view. A relatively calm area and we could always find places at the pool. And most importantly for a place like Carvoeiro: available parking space. It is also quite close to the centre and the beach. Just coming back is a bit of a hike, especially in the sun.
Great hotel with very friendly helpful staff in a convenient location close to town centre and restaurants. The breakfast was all nicely presented and tasty.
