A beautiful stop in Madeira if you want to treat yourself to a boutique, luxury experience - the views from the place and your own room are simply incomparable, the property is beautiful, staff is attentive, breakfast was great.
The restaurant was good: traditional dishes made with good technique and local, high quality ingredients, with a tasting menu changing daily. Didn’t feel particularly inventive if new, bold flavours are what you’re after, but it’s worth eating there one night.

Wonderful views, we lived on the ground floor and still had good ocean view. We saw the best sunsets on the island here. The whole place is very peaceful and quiet. The studio is large and has two separate rooms. Amazing breakfasts and dinners. The staff is super nice!
There is a free shuttle to Paul do Mar (ocean) on Friday and Monday.

The house was spacious and had all the necessary equipment. Everything was also very clean and tidy. The best part was the garden and views that changed throughout the day. The host was really nice and friendly, would always come back.

Very nice and clean house. Well equipped kitchen, which we find important. Beautiful view from the terrace but bear in mind it may get cold as the house is quite high up. There's even a barbecue area inside with a view over the ocean. 2 bathrooms, AC, washing machine. All in all, it is a great place to stay and a friendly host.

We booked late, and given that it was high season we were very happy with what we got. Spent a very nice week in the apartment, even with a small terrace and only 5 mins to drive down to Calheta marina & beach. Apartment was clean and well equipped, even with Oil, vinegar and seasonings which we appreciated. Very easy and swift communication with Viktoria.

Calheta was a lovely little town and the beach was amazing, The local residents were lovely and everybody did so much to make us feel welcome. The Supermarket had everything we need. The parking on the main street was busy but we always found a space. There is a multi storey car park on the harbour end that is less busy.

Superb location and extremely safe and clean.
Superb location and extremely safe and clean. So many beautiful places to eat, have coffee or eat ice cream. Lots of activities available, dolphin and whale watching, sunset cruises, deep sea fishing, close to beautiful and majestic towns like Ponta do Sol l, Ribeira Brava and West Coast touring. There is great taxi service at the hotel. One of the best taxis drivers is Nelson Lala (00351) 964 487 595 and we took private tours with him, far better than any group tours.

We loved Calheta Beach for its soft sand and calm waters, thanks to the sheltered cove. While not a natural beach, it offers a relaxing atmosphere. The area around the harbor boasts several excellent restaurants, and the beach itself has a convenient beach club for drinks and snacks. Plus, the affordable beach chairs for just 2 euros were a nice bonus.

Calheta is a nice village and had a big supermarket as well as smaller shops and a white sand beach. If you enjoy hiking, you will have to travel a bit because most of the hikes are not located in this part of the island. I would personally stay somewhere a bit more centered next time. Although this town also had a certain charm because part of the village is still rather old, it also has a main road next to the beach with some restaurants, a bigger supermarket, pharmacy, ... I enjoy staying in a neighborhood which is a little more vibrant and went on a lot of hikes, so that's why I would choose a different town to stay the next time I visit Madeira.

The location was absolutely fantastic, I like the fact that the hotel is next to the mountains that you can walk down if you like the steep.
Me and my wife spent seven nights here and I was completely satisfied. The rooms are very well equipped and spacious. Delicious buffet breakfast with variety of food.
Nice swimming pool.
The staff is super nice and friendly. I found the prices very reasonable too, highly recommended place to stay at if you plan to visit Madeira.

Loved the large included breakfast with many options. The view was amazing, the hotel atmosphere was top notch, with multiple restaurant options all looking out over the water and a stunning infinity pool to use. The beach bar across the road was also a great place to relax and soak up the sun.
