although we didn't meet the owners, entry details were provided via Booking.com. the apartment was clean and comfy and had the best kitchen we encountered on our trek (we had deliberately been chosing the cheapest accommodations) fully equipped with all cooking basics like oil, coffee gas oven etc. There was also a wood pellet fire, with pellets available, which we used to fend off the December nights. We would happily stay here again.

The house is beautiful, very well equipped and welcoming. Parking the car is easy and beautiful beaches are very close. We loved everything about our stay.
Had two nights here. Quiet village, the beach and beach bar made it worth staying the extra night. The hostel is in a side street very quiet two minute walk to a cafe/grocery store. Five minute walk to the beach.

Beautiful sleepy little Portuguese village .
Beautiful sleepy little Portuguese village . We wished we'd booked for two nights here as we didn't get to sample the local beach and the area around was worth of so much exploring. There is a coastal path which we would explore next time. We will come back!

The house has a very nice shape, and it's comfortable and well equipped. The owners were very helpful with the arrival and recommendations for food. As Almograve is a very small village, there are only a few restaurants for dinner. Therefore, it was nice to be able to fetch groceries from the nearby minimarket and prepare a small dinner at the house. We strongly recommend to go for a drink at the beach bar within 10 minutes walk from the house, which offers a stunning view!
The house is ideally located in the town of Almograve, near amenities. Impeccably clean, with only two other rooms for guests. We had a comfortable stay between walks in the Rota Vicentina trail and I highly recommend it to other walkers.

Breakfast is quite okay, only a few things, but everyone will find something; some things only upon request. Chill-out area in front of the hotel is recommandable. Mini-market and restaurants just around the corner.
Very nice and quiet rooms and very friendly owner. There is a water kettle and coffee maker for everyone to use and they offer free tea and coffee. Great accomodation in Almograve.
