Very nice and clean accommodation at a great price compared to other options. A small breakfast is included, along with coffee that you can enjoy on the terrace by the sea.
The staff is very kind and helpful, with quick communication. What was supposed to be a one-night stay turned into three nights because you won’t find anything better for a reasonable price.
The Surfing Turtle is located on the beachfront in Luquillo, 200 metres from La Pared Beach and 600 metres from Azul Beach.

This was hard to rate. The room was great, very comfortable bed and lovely ambiance - we were very excited upon arrival. Communication with the staff was all via platform (never saw anyone) but the instructions and responsiveness was good. There was a country wide power-outage when we arrived and while the property doesn't have a generator, the staff were very gracious around how this might impact our stay if we needed to explore alternative options. There is no on-site parking but we were able to easily park on the streets around the accommodation. The room also had beach towels, sun chairs and an umbrella which was a delightful touch.
Set in Luquillo, 300 metres from La Pared Beach, Casa Coral offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace.

Luquillo is very laid back so beach wear is acceptable everywhere. Very small town with perfect beaches. Limited dining options. Close proximity to El Yunque & Fajardo .
Friendly town but small. Local restaurants up charge for tourists and down charge for locals so it helps to speak Spanish as well. Kiosks were not impressive. Menus were pricey compared to other kiosk pricing. Luquillo is all about the beach for us.

Suprisingly nice blend of beach experience with the benefits of the local suburban community with the conveniences of grocery stores, gas, drug stores, etc. The local beaches are nice, Playa Luquillo and Playa Azul, have different feel, good beach experiences for north shore Atlantic Ocean side. The kioska at Luqillo Beach offer some good eats and drinks. This location is convenient by car to Fajardo, San Juan, and the Rain Forest.

Lovely, friendly, informal beach town. We really liked it. All very walkable. Our favorite breakfast place was Coffee Therapy. Good coffee, good breakfast and very nice staff. La Fonda is a very good restaurant.

We love Luquillo!
We love Luquillo! It is the best town and such an easy drive to Luquillo beach (and kiosks) and the wonderful El Yunque National Rainforest. We were glad to have a car, I don't know how we would have done it otherwise.

Nice place. Lovely view. Spacious apt w high ceiling. Genuine location with local life, including chicken, dogs, cats, lizards in the street. A nice colony of pigeons resting on window sylls. Area feels safe. 4 min walk W to stable bar (great location, open day time) and beach (and stream), and 7 min walk E to beach towards Luquillo. Best spot on NE PR. Good host. Stayed 17 nights. Would return.
This place is really an experience, with the outside kitchen and bathroom and hot tub. Very good location for the Luquillo Kiosks and beaches, and also convenient (if you have a rental car) to visit the whole island. Much appreciated the washing machine and the dryer.

Beautiful well maintained older hotel with nice beach view. It was quiet and large and very comfortable. Can't get to beach from hotel but the view is incredible and it's so close.
