Great place for an active rest.
Great place for an active rest. If you love cycling, walking or kayaking, then it will be perfect. It's located near the national park, offering beautiful views of the nature. There are great restaurants in the city, bike and kayak rentals almost everywhere.

nice, quiet, little town surrounded by national park/forest. Plenty to do and see if you plan ahead. There is a tourist information centre open 7 days a week, pls ask at your hotel for direction, tourist centre will provide you with a map of local walking trails, so you can choose one that suits your ability, and you won't get lost! We have seen a deer on our walk, and experienced noise of woodpecker and many other birds. Great value and quality local food at "Młyn" restaurant. Recommend going out of seson if you after quiet relaxing experience (less attractions are open) but in summer you will have more to explore (longer days). The Forest is beautiful all year round!! local people are friendly.

Zwierzyniec is a very cosy place for families to spend the time with children. It has fresh pine forest and a small crystal lake to swim. Tourist routes are also pleasant. There is no problem with eating and drinking local beer on site. Strongly recommended for weekends.
