Far, far away from civilization (till the weekend). Darkness around, silence (till the weekend). The Internet works fine. I could work remotely. The kitchen was very well equipped.
Tastefully decorated, hotel style rooms in the old wooden house. There is also shared kitchen to prepare a meal or morning coffee, eating room and even mini living room with a book shelf and a beautiful view for a forest. Neighborhood is peaceful and quiet, owners present and helpful but not overwhelming. Walking distance to all the crucial points of the town (restaurants, supermarkets, river, museums etc), with a car its a question of 2-3 min.
