While this is a simple hotel, it was exactly what I expected and I was happy with it. I was driving through the southern part of Poland and just needed an easy-to-find, clean, comfy place with parking. It fulfilled all those needs. I was on the 2nd floor (no elevator). There is a sports facility right behind so I suspect much business comes from events of some kind, but none were going on when I was there so it was quiet and mostly empty.
Breakfast was in the connected small restaurant - simple, but fresh cooked eggs and lots of coffee. Perfectly adequate.

We ended up in Nowy Targ because my mom became injured and in the hospital. The host of this property went above and beyond to help accommodate us. She was truly a blessing. The apartment is beautiful, within walking distance of everything. The town turned out to be an unexpected delight. Wonderful restaurants and beautiful people. Do a hot air balloon adventure, you won’t be disappointed.

Nowy Targ is a charming and authentic Polish town that offers a perfect blend of natural beauty, history, and culture. The town is situated at the foot of the Tatra Mountains, which offer stunning views and plenty of trails to explore. The town also has a rich cultural heritage, with historic buildings and folk festivals. The delicious cuisine is a highlight, with traditional mountain dishes available to sample and even learn to cook at cooking classes. Overall, Nowy Targ offers something for everyone, whether seeking adventure, culture, or relaxation.
Buses and trains make it easy to travel anywhere, however if you planning on driving to small rural vilages it would be easier to rent a car. There are buses to Zakopane as well as trains, also there is transport for the thermal baths in Szaflary.

From a winter perspective: great coffee, decent restaurants, two small ski slops, wonderful walks in the region BUT my dear god, the smog! When you walk down from the mountains, you can taste the city immediately. And it is not a good sort of a taste. Seriously, when will the Polish South finally do something about the air quality??

This place is in a wonderful setting close to the mountains and lakes. It is a popular location and well worth a visit both in winter for the snow and winters ports and in summer for the hill walking, cycling etc.

Just a nice ordinary Polish City.
Just a nice ordinary Polish City. Does not have a big shopping mail yet (but one is being built... which will mean many small shops will close and spoil the busy centre). Has quite a a lot of lovely restaurants.... once you'd found them. Easy (by bus or train) for day trips to other places like Zakopane and the various Termy swimming complexes.
This was a surprisingly comfortable stay, considering the relatively small price. The room was modern and clean. The breakfast was good. Most importantly, the hotel is bike-friendly - we could store our bikes in a garage.
