I love historical cities and towns. There's plenty to enjoy for history-, culture-, and architecture lovers there! I have never seen so many beautiful, rich, brick-built mansions, villas, palace-like structures stuck in one mid-size town in my life. Though it's always better to walk around in the summer, you'll be amazed with what you see even on a rainy or cold day. The very Market Square and its area offer a good number of cozy cafes, restaurants to sit down and enjoy your time.

Deffenetly suggest restaurant Bistro No.22 - that is just super!! Good service and even better food with normal price!
But, if you go outside of the center, then the city is dirty!! empty bottles everywhere, trash on the ground, left where it dropped. Nobody cleans...

But there is ugly place like Cuban, rude owner, manager and worthless bartenders. I was attacked by I believe owner, then they made me delete video to get my phone back. Got video of incident recorded on second phone.

Legnica is old town with several nice historical buildings.
Legnica is old town with several nice historical buildings. Unfortunately many of them is directly connected with ugly concrete block of flats. A nice place for walking or jogging is city park (Park Miejski).
Polish cuisine is traditionally very tasty.

Our stay in the hotel was overall truly pleasant. Unfortunately, our neighbors were really loud and obnoxious at the night but the hotel service took great care of us and managed all issues. All ladies working at reception were extremely nice and breakfast service was enjoyable as well. The hotel building itself is making a great impression and the main hall is stunning (especially with all the Christmas decorations).
