Naran is a wonderful station and the views of the lakes were outstanding. The only problem is the people working there who treat customers and tourists like garbage and bring bad name to the entire nation

Views are extremely pleasant but the roads are horrendous and only experienced drivers should go.
Nothing really to do but chill I wouldn’t waste my time going to Saif-ul-Mulook you have to hire a Jeep to get there which is a very unpleasant drive and the lake itself is disappointing. It’s got nothing on Hunza which was Super fantastic.

Naran i guess was once a vey beautiful place and could well still be save for how congested and polluted it was. I cannot believe how much plastic waste there was and given in Hunza they have a strict non-plastic rule (hardly saw any discarded rubbish on the roads beyond Babusur Top) it clearly is possible to eradicate this issue to some extent. The river flowing through the town (city ... not sure what it is) would be lovely if it wasn't so polluted and crowded with hawkers and tourist.
As a pitstop, Naran is fine - i arrived just in time to enjoy a meal and get a good nights slight. I was very happy to leave in the morning.
It is a small place and very easy to navigate around - one road in and another out. One road lined with shops (i didn't see anything that i could identify as "local" and having travelled from Lahore they had many of the same items at double the price), restaurants and hawkers and the other road was lined with visitors coaches and jeeps for local tours.

I liked the hustle and bustle in the Naran bazar and and the goodies they are offering. Loved moon restaurant there and also the Manila height hotel. And the view is just breathtaking and can gaze at beautiful mountains and clean river all day and all night. In the day time it looks beautiful but at night it looks amazing like the sound of water hitting the rocks and just serenity. A good place to get rid of hectic routines and daily stress. And I’m just glad I made decision to visit it. Highly recommended! DO VISIT!

Naran Valley is a beautiful location surrounded by mountains and beautiful lakes and waterfalls are pretty close but it's better to hire a Jeep to reach those destinations. I was really hard for me to leave Naran since I'm a nature lover and that place is mesmerizing and if you experience Rain (although that could create issues as well to reach some places), then you will that Naran would become more beautiful. I experienced two Rain showers while I was in Naran and it became even more beautiful. I don't have enough words to explain the beauty of Naran Valley.
