WengWeng and family were very hospitable. It's basic accommodation but the simplicity makes it special. We enjoyed walking around the island, the islanders are very friendly and it was nice not having cars to contend with while walking (only bikes). WengWeng met us at Baclyon for the hour crossing to Pamilacan (he charges 3500 return).

Great to get to see and enjoy a whole island in a couple of days. Beaches and sea have a lot of trash. It's a shame that an island that relies on tourism lets itself down by not having a clean-up program.
Apparently there is a water shortage on the island due to low rains. No signs anywhere about conserving water though.
