the AC worked extremely good. free breakfast and it was actually pretty good with the value being 774 pesos or should I say roughly $15 made it one of the most cheapest hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed at. well, I put down that the location may not be that great. It’s only because it’s off the beating path of the road however it is extremely quiet. The neighbors seem as if they’re not even there which is awesome. It’s a nice little cozy hotel, one that I plan on staying at again.

Gensan as it is know here is a very modern city home to the great manny pacquaio great malls to spend a evening browsing and eating the roads are well maintained and wide very few high rise buildings not to many taxis available but far to many tricabs definitely worth a visit.

very inexpensive transportation galore, ate fresh seafood at the warf overlooking the pacific ocean

wide variety of food and price is ok. Not much to go in the General Santos area except for the fish port and central plaza. Though there are a lot of interesting places on the nearby towns which are azbout 1 hour away like SG farm, Lake Sebu, Glan beach, Dole plantation.

City wide roads, less traffic and people are generally nice, helpful, courteous, friendly and very accommodating. The food is superb! The seafood buffet we went to is heaven for seafood lovers like us... Until we meet again Gensan! So proud of this city! 😉😍

They have a Starbucks and a really good Indian food restaurant.
The city is always dusty, because its on the ocean.
Tricycles are really bad, no emision control, plenty of 2 cycles, horrible pollution. Drivers have major attiudes and will rip you off, know your fare prices. Basic city, better to use as a base. South Cotabato is pretty iffy as a tourist destination. Siargao is very good.

Not much to say since we only stayed for a day.
Not much to say since we only stayed for a day. We had lunch at Rachel and we were satisfied with the seafoods that were served us. We had the impression that there's not much unique to see for tourists in that urbanized city in such so short stay. The fresh seafood and the late afternoon durian market where we enjoyed the popular fruit under make shift table n stools are enough for transient stay
