In general the Phillipines is not as well developed for tourists vs other areas like Bali or Thailand. Some may like this, but its worthwhile noting as there is a big difference, and this may not appeal to everyone. Ie if you get a cold and need some medication, tough luck. El Nido is a really pretty spot, but typical of asian countries there are buildings everywhere, including on the beaches, and unfortunately the area is very poor. El Nido is a pretty spot, but other than a few boat tours, there isnt much to do. I wish the Philippines would protect the beautiful scenery they have rather than try and develop shops and buildings everyone to try and earn money from it.

EL NIDO IS AN AMAZING PLACE TO SEE,FULL OF LIFE AND VIBRANT. THERE ARE SOME AMAZING ISLAND HOPPING TOURS, SNORKELLING, SCUBA DIVING AND BEACH VISITING TO DO. YOU REQUIRE AT LEAST 4/5 DAYS IN THIS TOWN AND YOU NEED TO KNOW SWIMMKING TO REALLY ENJOY EL NIDO

Amazing place for beach and sea lovers. We did tours A,B,C and they were all great! Easy to move around especially if you rent a scooter. Don’t miss Las Cabanas resort for the sunset and Vanilla Beach for relaxation and drinks.

El Nido was a vibrant tourist destination that caters to short term stays of mainly young travellers. There is a great variety of restaurants and tours to island hop as well as places to relax and enjoy a sunset. The prices for food and accommodation were very reasonable. There are other nearby beaches that offer better swimming and enjoyment. I would definitely recommend El Nido as part of a larger trip to tour Palawan. Ps beware of the drinking water concerns. Very easy to become I’ll from tainted water.

Loved El Nido! Gorgeous setting. Tonnes of restaurants and bars with some of the best (international) food I've ever eaten. Lots to do from zip lines to canopy walks and boat trips. Would highly recommend.

El nido is beautiful for the water activities (island hoping, snorkelling etc). The island itself is poor with dirty streets and houses
When you walk around you cannot see the ocean unless you go directly on the sand because of the poorly organised infrastructure.

The location is outside El Nido (150peso ~10mins) in a quieter area and a short walk to a complex with shops, food and a lovely beach where you can swim and sit in the hotel bars. Very nice, kind, helpful staff who helped us organise tours and were very communicative over WhatsApp when’s arranging pick up/drop off. They were really accommodating when we arrived before checkin and let us have a different room until ours was ready. The food from the bar was lovely and there was live music one of the nights which was cool.
Good hotel in the heart of El Nido, close to the ferry terminal, island hopping boarding point, local beach, night market, shops, atm, restaurants, etc. We had a room with balcony (nice view) where we could smoke, but at 4th floor (no elevator!), that’s the only floor with balcony (and the local restaurant as well). Good choice of breakfast, included in the room’s rate. Staff very helpful and friendly, thank you Belle!🙏
Very clean hotel. Staff were really attentive, polite and helpful. Breakfast was really nice. Refillable water stations throughout. Airport shuttle was really useful and easy to organise. Staff also helped the friend I was travelling with book a transfer to Puerto Princesa. They also run a free shuttle to Lio beach and El Nido town centre at regular intervals throughout the day. Would stay here gain.
Location is as central as it can be if you want to stay in El Nido town. Staff are all friendly, especially the manager who is so patient with all our questions. He also explains everything so well. The beds and pillows are so comfortable! The best perk is that you get to use the facility at their sister hotel at Nacpan Beach!
Very friendly hotel staff. Excellent sea views from the balcony. Very good beach bar (drinks, full moon parties, DJs and live music,...). Good internet speed. Hotel located at one of the best beaches in El Nido.
