The space was really nice. The wifi was pretty good, the AC was cold and the shower had good water pressure and got hot which was very nice. It’s not very close to anything but not too far either, we were hopping around a lot of more social areas and we came here to chill out for a couple of nights before heading to the airport and it was perfect. You can also rent a bike right through the resort for a good price which was an unexpected bonus. Everything was really clean, the staff was super nice and the pool is amazing.

It is a new hotel. The staff is great but the little things seem to be an issue. There’s rusty floor drains. The bed is too small for me. I’m 6 foot one. They don’t provide blankets. Only a sheet. The window in the bathroom has no cover on it and I saw a man, fixing a water tank looking into my bathroom while I showered. The owner needs to focus on the little details of this hotel otherwise you’re going to lose business.

It’s the third time I’ve stayed here, for one or more than two weeks each time, and it’s always very nice to come back — very comfortable stay every time, where the AC room and the beds, upper or lower, are awesome; 2 attached bathrooms are cleaned everyday; plenty of lounging space and a pretty decent shared kitchen upstairs; board racks, parking, outdoor shower & outdoor space, an extra bathroom outside the dorm rooms, are all very useful and add to a good stay experience there. Plus the location is super convenient to go to either Big Wish and Bamboo, the 2 surf spots in Pacifico, either bu by walk or bike. I highly recommend LaFinca for solo surf trip or with your group of friends.
