The staff, the pool and the restaurant were very great! Nice ambiance at the bar very nice pool and the food was variated with good prices.
The staff helped booking everything we needed: tuktuks, excursions, van transfers, late dinner etc
The shower was very great, it is difficult to find hot showers in Philippines, Mayana definitely has it
Also it was very quite, no nearby roaster or late party to disturb your sleeping

Words cannot describe how amazing this hotel is. We booked last minute for one night after a change in plans and a bad experience at another hotel. The hotel organised a pick up from our previous location which was great. When we arrived, the staff greeted us with welcome drinks and smiles and we instantly felt like we were right at home. This continued throughout our stay and the service was exceptional.
We had the Poseidon massages shortly after we arrived which are the best massages we have ever had.
Ford, the waiter who looked after us during our dinner (the hotel set up a private table on the rooftop for us) was brilliant.
We stayed in a king suite which was amazing value. The private pool was beautiful at sunrise. The bed was so comfortable and breakfast (served at the pool) was epic.
We were genuinely very sad to leave. Sadness was only slightly abated by the cats and dogs sanctuary next door. Some of the owners dogs wander in the hotel but were so friendly and sweet (all vaccinated). The owner is so passionate about the animals and looking after them, we felt really moved.
Would really recommend a stay at epic suites Bohol. What could have been a bad experience in Bohol turned into such a special memory. We can’t wait to return!

Staff are so friendly and helpful. Right by a river you can swim in or use the free kayak. Free use of kitchen with a fruit and veg market just up the round. You get a special surprise on your balcony at night 😍. Perfect if you are arriving late on the ferry as only 10 mins away.

The host is very kind and provided everything needed. They facilitated pickup and drop off to the airport. Our tourist driver (FRANZ) was so awesome. We had an amazing time during our stay. We highly recommend them!
Really recommend Bohol Farm! Their ice cream is incredible, and the food is great too. We got a tour of the farm, which was super nice.
Getting around is quite easy, there are three main road that go around the island, and there are tuktuks for hire everywhere. I rented a moped, which actually felt quite safe, as there were few big cars.
Alona beach is definitely worth a visit. I'd recommend doing a countryside tour too, to see a lot of the sights of Bohol in one day.

You can get enough of the non-oceanic tourist attractions in 2 days. The snorkeling is why I love it. You need to go to a Marine Sanctuary for the good snorkeling, although a few resorts have decent house reefs. DON'T go on one of the snorkeling/island hopping tours which are promoted at many places, especially by hawkers at Alona Beach. None of the boat motors have mufflers. They will leave you at a substandard restaurant on Balicasag Island for an outrageous length of time. Tag along on a dive boat, which you can arrange at most dive shops.

It was a nice place, it’s not far from the port, also it’s located between Panglao and Bohol, like that you can visit places and do activities in bohol without passing hours in the road.
Also, breakfast was nice, free coffee and drinking water.
Also, there’s a lagune near by the hostel, you can go kayaking in the lagune from the hostel.
At the end it was a clean hostel !
The room is very comfortable with a very nice swimming pool. The staff almost tries too hard to give you a wonderful time. There is a small restaurant on site, and also a spa and gym. Lots of very friendly dogs. Nice welcome surprise.
They do offer tours from the hotel.

Loved this hotel, nice and clean and cozy. Staff were great, could not fault. The pool area was a delight to spend the day relaxing and swimming. And if any girls need their nails done, the hotel staff organised for May Ann to visit the hotel. She is highly recommended

Very quiet place, away from the busy tourist area. The place is big enough for four of us. Beach is only few meters away from the house though it's not white sand but happy to explore the rocky shore.
