The place was nice but the staff serving the breakfast needs training and also the chef.

The staff of the resort and the staff of the Dive-shop was very nice and competent. I liked the friendly, open athmosphere very much. The resort is dir.ectly in front of a marine sanctuary with beauu.tiful corals and a lot of fish. The diving at Apo-Island and at El Dorado divesite was great. Adrian, my dive guide teached me to make macro photos wit a rented TG6 camera

We are absolutely thrilled with our stay at this hotel! Everything about it was perfect – the cleanliness, the coziness, and the beauty of the place. The atmosphere was so warm and welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious. We felt truly cared for, and our kids had an amazing time. The hotel was so comfortable for them, and it was hard to say goodbye.
The staff deserves special praise – they were simply golden! They knew all of us by name and even remembered our food preferences. The menu was fantastic, offering something for everyone. One unforgettable moment was when our child had a birthday – they surprised us with a delightful homemade cake, even though we hadn’t requested it. Their thoughtfulness truly touched us, and they made the day so special with their kind congratulations.
We also enjoyed amazing activities, including diving in the sea. The coral reef was like something out of a fairytale – absolutely stunning! We even saw turtles. On the boat, they served a delicious buffet, which made the trip even more enjoyable.
From the breakfasts to every other detail, this hotel exceeded all our expectations. We’re already dreaming of coming back! Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a magical and heartfelt vacation experience.

We liked everything. The staff were friendly, and were always quick to assist us. The breakfast and the menu at the restaurant were very variable. Everywhere we went within their facilities were always clean. We will definitely come back and recommend the place.

We stayed in Dauin for one night en route from Dumaguete to Apo Island because I had heard that the Dauin Marine Sanctuary off of Dauin Beach was an awesome spot to snorkel. And it was!!! The coral garden was literally right off the beach within a 1 minute swim. We arrived by tricycle from Dumaguete. We stayed at a resort right on Dauin Beach for easy and quick access. There were multiple restaurants in the area within a 3-10 min walk. We ate at Jardin's. They had a nice variety of very tasty food, and the owners were lovely and accommodating. We stayed late and just chatted with them. We were easily able to catch another tricycle along the main road to get to Malatapay to catch our ferry to Apo Island the next morning.

It's a Divers thing.
It's a Divers thing. If you don't dive there is only the dark sand beach. Very crowded on weekends. Lots of loud ghetto blasters.
No night life except a couple of quiet bars on the main road. No food available after 10pm. Maybe if you're lucky a hotdog stand, but you have to look for it. She changes locations every few days.

Dauin is lovely- I would 100% come back here again and recommend to friends. It is nowhere near as busy as other places we visited on Cebu Island (malapascua, moalboal). The locals seem to care so much more about their coastline and the marine ecosystem- they have designated sanctuary areas where the coral and fish are amazing. There is also a rule that buildings must be more than 30m from the high water mark. The beach is nice - not much rubbish. Dark sand (which can get hot!) You can snorkel right off the beach - lovely coral, fish, turtles etc.
And the area is not too busy. Locals come here for picnics and its a really nice atmosphere.

Very friendly staff! Thank you for the stay.
I stayed in the 4 bed dorm, it was clean, had mosquito nets, and a private porch with hammocks in for lounging. Right on the beach front. Breakfast was provided for, full kitchen, easy to use. Hot showers also available here.
Mark even gave me a free lift into town!

came here for the diving, but the accommodation is just as amazing!
the people there are incredibly welcoming and help you with whatever you need.
One of the best and most organized dive shops I’ve seen in the philippines, equipment is in really good shape, the dive masters do an amazing job and are so fun to dive with + the atmosphere is truly unmatched!
