The location was absolutely superb, one of the most beautiful beaches with a lot of fish and corals to see. The breakfast was good, the bungalow was clean and comfortable and the food in the restaurant was good, too.

We were promptly met at the Airport, where we met by our host, Puurotu, who delivered our comfortable and clean vehicle. She is the best and has beautiful lodgings in Huahine-Iti, Parea, on Avea Bay. She is very kind, efficient, and businesslike. We liked her very much, and she was always available. This is a special place, and we very much enjoyed it. The water and the views are just spectacular. Fortunately, our lodging was perfect for three American guys traveling on an adventure. The rooms and baths are exactly as advertised, clean and nicely appointed. The outdoor area and inside kitchen were just what we were looking for. Again, the view is sublime and beautiful, with great snorkeling directly from the stunning beach. It’s true what everyone says; there is an authentic beauty and wonder surrounding Huahine.
We took a tremendous private tour with “Huahine Secret Tours” with our great Guide, Will, and felt very at home on this island. We enjoyed walking along the road, the great choice of restaurants, and visiting Hotel Le Mahana. But we had the best spot of all! Our favorite restaurant was Chez Selena, which was right next door. Everything was provided for you at Chez Purotu. (Don’t forget to pick up a five-gallon water bottle from the local store.) The nature preserve at Plage Hana Iti was a unique experience, and the fantastic local food and atmosphere are significantly memorable. Still, the people of Huahine were the best, just like Purotu and her friends. We will come back! Highly Recommended
