Excellent breakfast delivered to our room. Locally made toiletries were very nice. Shower worked well. Abundant fish life off the deck of our suite plus sharks and rays seen at twilight. Eileen was very helpful in organising transport and a tour. Nearby Holy Steak House was very good for dinner and included a pick up service. Small supermarket within easy walking distance.
Featuring an outdoor pool and beachfront restaurant, the tropical huts at Hotel Hibiscus are only steps from sandy white beaches.

Close to beach, restaurants, and shops. Clean and comfortable, kitchenette was great to have, equipped with everything we needed for our stay, friendly staff. It was nice to be able to hang out at the pool after check-out.
Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a private pool, Villa Ho'a - bord de mer avec piscine is set in Papetoai.

We Loved the stunning outlook which never looked the same while we were there, we had rain, clouds, sunshine we were happy with them all, the pool was clean and perfect to cool off in, or even swim in the rain! We Loved having the kayaks we used them several times, however the weather was never perfect enough to snorkel ( until the day we had a snorkeling trip booked), we still recommend using them!, we did see a stingray each time we did, especially over by snack Mahana. The accommodation is beautiful and has many extras, they are really easy and helpful to deal with and we highly recommend this lovely home to stay in. Thanks so much for letting us stay.
A recently renovated property, FARE TEMANEA is located in Papetoai near Papetoai Beach, Tiahura Beach. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi.

Was a nice cool room, didn’t hold the heat. Large big comfortable bed. There were kayaks we could use which was awesome as we kayaked to the bay of reef sharks and coconut beach. Great location
This luxury resort offers bungalows set amongst exotic flowers or suspended above a turquoise lagoon. Guests enjoy a swimming pool, a fitness centre, a tennis court, 3 restaurants and 3 bars.

We had the over water bungalow and what a treat it was! We loved it. The beds were super comfortable and a nice large room. We loved the glass floor area in our room to watch the fish at night.
Kayaking was great even though we were only allowed around the periphery of the hotel swimming zone which means you could do the entire thing in about 15 mins. The lagoon is great for snorkelling and we even got to see some sharks.
The restaurant and bar staff were great too. The food at the restaurant was not over priced and pretty much the same as other restaurants outside. The traditional dishes were fantastic (the burger not so much).
They refill the mini bar fridge which is nice considering you’re paying so much for the place and everything on Mo’orea is so expensive.

Location is a long way from the airport and port, so best to rent a car to get around as no bus service. Hot and humid in January so not so easy to walk far.
Many people were enjoying lagoon activities.

The only thing that is frustrating coming from New Zealand,...
The only thing that is frustrating coming from New Zealand, where the public has access to all beaches, is that in Moorea, like the rest of French Polynesia other than three public beaches the toilets are all locked. Also, the street lighting is not operational or turned off, so if you walk after dark, you have to do so with a torch. Also in this area, Google Maps would suggest that there are roads leading to the water side but they are mostly private and the best snorkelling areas are therefore only accessible on a tour or if you eat at the waterfront restaurant, or hire a canoe etc. Locals are friendly, and you feel safe here even after dark.

We were happy with our location in Papetoai.
We were happy with our location in Papetoai.
we had a rental car and the shops and Restaurants are very close by.
We had a few km to drive to the public beaches, which wasn't a problem.
We recommend booking a bungalow with a kitchen for a stay longer than two or three days.

We were told by two locals there is quite a bit of petty theft. The police visited the hotel twice while we were there. You must lockup all your valuables in the safe and keep your doors locked at all times.
On the bright side there are some good reasonably priced restaurants we particularly liked La Pai Hot about 500 M from the Hotel. Great service, friendly staff and really good food.

Very relaxing and very nice staff.
Very relaxing and very nice staff. Lovely fish to observe and beautiful Lagoon. Stayed 3 nights. Perfect amount of time...they have a wonderful library to relax and read. Looks like it's out of a movie. The property is next to a few nice restaurants (we drove so was fine but would have been a little too far to walk)
Highly recommend renting a vehicle if you are staying here. Also, bring some good water footwear to explore the shallow Coral areas.
Very nice host and just super tranquil. Merci beaucoup!

We booked a garden villa with a pool. We stayed in room 50, just of the beach. The plunge pool is private but the front decking can be seen by people walking past as there is only a hedge separating it from the path. The drinks in the mini bar are complimentary which is a nice touch. The stand out feature at the hotel if the hotel reef if you enjoy snorkelling. Just wade into the perfectly calm sea of the hotel beach and you will see plenty of fish, in fact more than we saw than in the snorkelling boat tour we did.
The view was good
Drive up to motel terrible and very dangerous
Owner of hotel came down yelled at us for being to loud in pool at 5pm and said she will call police if we are not quiet pool hours are 8 or pm but she changed them on us
The breakfast was terrible but edible food was poorly cooked and extremely expensive breakfast 18 dollars
We stayed in an overwater bungalow and it was amazing. We had a wonderful patch of coral just off our swim platform. The room was spacious, clean and the bed was so comfortable. The staff throughout the hotel were wonderful also.
