Fantastic spot, very comfortable bed, exceptionally welcoming and friendly staff. Could not have been more helpful. Got up to cook us a great breakfast at 4.30am so we could start our climb back out of the canyon at first light, avoiding the heat of the day. Great food in the evening too. Gloria has a well deserved reputation as the best cook in the canyon.

The room was big, spacious and the room was insulated well which was really comfy. The bed and toilet were clean.

Perfect location in the middle of the Sangalle oasis and the path leading uphill to Cabanaconde is just behind the main building! Property is well taken care of with the pool being cleaned in the morning and a big terrace to chill on. Lodge itself was nice, but the shower was not spectacularly hot nor was the bed very comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were quite simple but delicious and the staff were warm and welcoming, even spoke some English.

Dinner was 25 soles each and really delicious. They also served our free breakfast at 5am for us to have before we set off hiking which was great! The pool was super refreshing after a long day of hiking.

The staff were AMAZING. So helpful with planning our independent tour of the Colca Canyon & even gave us a map with what to look out for when changing paths. We had a good idea from researching online but this advice ended up being invaluable. They spoke in Spanish and English.
