We used Hotel Colomba as our base for a month while we rode our bicycles around the area. Owner was helpful, generous, stored our bicycle boxes and spoke English. Breakfast was extensive and varied. This place is amazing. Zarela is so friendly and helpful. She speaks great English and can help you book anything you need, including logistics for climbing and trekking in the area. All the staff are lovely. The vibe is easy-going and well organized. The rooms are very comfortable and there are plants everywhere. Nice, easy walk into town. The restaurant is fantastic and delicious, and one of the few places in Peru that never got us sick!

Loved our time here. While the location is outside of the centre of Huaraz, we actually liked this as you don’t have all the noise and commotion of the centre. Close to the Movilbus terminal - so handy if you use them as connections! The local motorbike taxis are an easy way to get around to restaurants, etc. The owners were so kind and extremely helpful - with thanks to Jamie he made sure we had activities planned each day with his connections. The breakfast on the top floor was always a great way to start the day - love that view!! Rooms were always clean & comfortable with everything you might need.
