A perfect little hotel run by a team of smiling helpful staff. Our room was spacious and was tucked away on the first floor overlooking an inner courtyard. The hotel is on a pretty quiet street located very close to restaurants, shops and the gardens along the cliff top. Providing a big selection of teas and on tap cold drinking water is a nice touch.

Big, fascinating, beautiful city with excellent food. While Miraflores is the best place to stay, you also need to visit historic central Lima, but beware the traffic! And we visited at Christmas time, so it was especially beautiful.
We splurged on a dinner at Astrid y Gaston in (I believe) San Isidro - quite good, with great atmosphere & service. And Barranco was fun - I loved the murals, and the Bajada de los Banos walk down to the beach. Callao (port in particular) wasn't nice, but port areas seldom are, so what can I say? We were taken out of the port to a near by plaza, with plenty of people there answering questions and letting us know how to connect with taxis/pre-arranged drivers, etc. Getting off a cruise ship there was just the start of our adventure. Overall the whole 3 days in Lima were wonderful, and I've love to go back some day.

Only was there for a day and one night however it was fabulous. Punto Azul restaurant is outstanding, And the bar a few doors down is excellent as well. Unfortunately, I missed the night but and I don’t remember the name of the place but it’s maybe two doors down from Punta Azul. Great coffee, shops, and the friendliest people! Love to have had more time in Lima, but I came to Peru more for the nature than cities. I will be back when I travel to Peru again to visit the Amazon.

The areas of Mira Flores, Surco, and Barranco were great to explore. The food is amazing, wherever you go! I loved the cats at Kennedy Park. I didn't appreciate the traffic - the noise, the pollution, the disorder.

We had two stops in Lima, the first was 3 days and the 2nd was just a stopover waiting for a flight. The three days were excellent and mostly spent in the Miraflores part of town. Which is designed for tourists it seems, and it was mostly very impressive and entertaining. We did a bicycle ride along this part of town's very nice bike paths, and we also did a motorized hand gliding event. We also explored the beaches and surrounding area. Overall we liked Lima. Some locals stated that Lima was not the best part of Peru, and after visiting Ciusco and Machu Picchu we tend to agree that this part of Peru is somewhat more exciting than Lima.

Very disappointing city to visit especially after experience in Cusco.
Bus from airport very convenient. Walked around Miraflores district and found little enlightenment whilst travelling the circular bus route.
Will give Lima a miss in future apart from flight connection.
Costa del Sol hotel at airport ideal for overnight stay as it is connected to the terminal by an air ridge and friendly helpful staff

Stayed 1 night before flying to Cusco to do the Inca trail 4 day trek. Hotel very clean. Staff speak good English. Breakfast very good with varied choice. 5 minute walk to tourist office and plenty of restaurants in the area. Comfy bed and quiet. No complaints Would stay again if in Lima.

Highly recommend to stay in Barranco (vs. Miraflores) and this hotel if you're visiting Lima as the neighborhood is so lively and beautiful. The hotel is built in a colonial style house and only has 9 rooms (if i recall correctly). The concierge is there 24/7 and all the staff members were really attentive during my stay. The breakfast is set up in the beautiful living room and makes the experience extra special.
I have spent a wonderful night at Lima Boutique 18. As I arrived late in the night, they gave me at the reception all the information I was needing to visit quickly Miraflores and Barranco districts in a day. I have also enjoyed the hospitality of the hotel and their delicious breakfast. Clearly I warmly recommend Lima 18 Boutique to anyone willing to enjoy a Lima trip.
I loved this apartment. It was only 15 mins from the airport and 15 mins from Miraflores, and the city center. The view of the ocean from the apartment was amazing. Ivan was a great host, and communicated fast, when I had any questions. I would highly recommend this place when your in Lima.
